  • Build and deliver compelling, scalable technical demos and proofs of concept tailored to mid‑market use cases

  • Advise on integrations, security, and compliance requirements common to mid‑market customers, coordinating internal and third‑party resources as needed

  • Document technical considerations, curate product feedback, and contribute to internal knowledge bases

  • Evangelize Notion’s platform and AI capabilities and influence our roadmap through clear customer insight

What You’ll Achieve
  • Lead and scale the AMER Mid‑Market Solutions Engineering function, including hiring, mentoring, playbooks, and processes

  • Increase win rates and expansion by elevating technical discovery, demos, and POCs

  • Shape go‑to‑market by partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, CX, RevOps, and Sales Enablement to bring customer signal into product strategy

  • Establish best‑in‑class demo assets, tooling, and narratives to demonstrate value at scale

Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers supporting AMER Mid‑Market AEs

  • Set standards for discovery, demo excellence, POCs, and technical validation

  • Guide customers on IAM/SSO, DLP/SIEM considerations, and API usage to support advanced workflows

  • Respond to RFPs and security questionnaires with precise, timely detail

  • Represent Notion with customers and at industry events; contribute to technical content and field enablement

Skills You’ll Need to Bring
  • 5+ years as a high‑performing Solutions/Sales Engineer, including leadership experience mentoring or managing SEs

  • Technical depth in SaaS integrations and platform architecture, with the ability to explain and apply APIs in real workflows

  • Strong executive presence and customer communication; proven partnership with Sales, Product, and Marketing

  • Demonstrated project leadership and a growth mindset in fast‑changing environments

  • Curiosity and fluency with rapidly evolving AI technology and its practical applications in productivity

Nice to Haves
  • Early‑stage startup experience

  • Hands‑on experience with Notion and designing relational databases

  • Familiarity with LLMs and using AI tools to improve workflows

  • Coding ability sufficient to write basic scripts using the Notion API
