About the Role

As a Sourcing Manager, Infrastructure Supply Chain, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for compute, storage, networking equipment, and infrastructure services supporting hyperscale datacenter operations. You will build and manage supplier relationships with OEMs, ODMs, component manufacturers, and service providers to deliver capacity, cost optimization, quality, and innovation objectives.

Focus
  • Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, technology roadmaps, and supply dynamics; provide market intelligence to engineering and business stakeholders on total cost of ownership, lead times, capacity, and innovation opportunities

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers; manage relationships ensuring performance excellence in delivery, quality, cost, and innovation through scorecards, KPIs, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

  • Conduct competitive bidding, RFx processes, and negotiations with OEMs, ODMs, networking vendors and VARs

  • Lead contract negotiations including pricing, terms, SLAs, and warranties; manage MSAs, purchase agreements, and SOWs while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements

  • Partner with capacity planning, engineering, and program management teams to forecast infrastructure needs and align procurement timelines with deployment schedules

  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for compute servers, storage, networking equipment (switches, routers, optics), core components (CPUs, GPUs, memory), and infrastructure services

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or category management in technology, IT hardware, or hyperscale/HPC environments

  • Experience with supply chain management, logistics, demand planning, and capacity forecasting in high-volume environments

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with proven track record delivering cost savings and business value

  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and procurement systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA) or advanced degree; 8+ years in strategic sourcing at hyperscale providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OCI, Meta) or large technology companies

  • Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure (compute servers, storage, networking, components)

  • Established relationships with OEMs (Dell, Supermicro, HPE etc.), networking equipment (Arista, Juniper, Cisco, etc.), core components(Intel, AMD, Nvidia etc.), and VARs, integrator, distributors, and various other service providers.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000- $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
