The Opportunity...Centerfield is looking for a talented Specialist, Paid Search to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Media Buying team to learn best practices for managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns. You will support the launch, maintenance, and optimization of PPC campaigns, including ad scheduling, tracking, reporting, and performance optimization.
Paid Search Specialists play a key role in supporting Centerfield’s Media Buyers with both pre- and post-campaign activities. You will be responsible for coordinating campaign traffic, monitoring advertising campaign delivery, and assisting with ongoing campaign maintenance to help ensure successful performance and execution.
How You'll Contribute...
Help identify and resolve issues that negatively impact campaigns.
Bid management, account architecture, and day-to-day monitoring of campaign performance.
Conduct keyword research for optimization, including adding new keywords and eliminating underperforming keywords.
Run weekly and daily performance reports and work with media buyers to produce campaign recap and verification reports for clients as needed.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
Assist with any additional duties required to enable ad revenue growth, ensure efficient ad delivery, and organize campaign assets to help expedite efficient trafficking.
Extract campaign data and generate reports that summarize campaign performance.
Create and interpret performance reports to provide actionable insights.
Help execute PPC campaigns including account setup, uploading keywords, ad creatives and ad extensions, strategy and tactical development, and organization.
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience creating, managing, and optimizing Paid Search campaigns.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to complete VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
Experience working with Google AdWords and AdWords Editor (Bing Ads, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.).
Basic understanding of marketing KPIs and search metrics such as CPC, CTR, CPA, and conversion rates.
Highly analytical mindset - you're comfortable digging into data, questioning what the numbers are telling you, and turning insights into action
Entrepreneurial spirit is a must - you take initiative, move with urgency, and treat every campaign like it's your own. Bonus points if you've run a side business, freelanced, or built something on your own, we love people who know what it means to have skin in the game
Passion for digital media and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
An independent worker with strong time management and organization skills.
Experience using Tableau.
Experience with Claude or other enterprise-level AI tools.
This is a hybrid position, and employees are expected to work in our Playa Vista, CA office every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
