SPECIALIST, WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE
About Carvana
At Carvana, we’re changing the way people buy and sell cars. With an ambitious vision and a fundamentally different approach designed to be fun, fast, and fair, Carvana became the fastest-growing automotive retailer in history. We expanded nationally, went public on the New York Stock Exchange, sold our 1 millionth car, and reached the Fortune 500, all in just eight years.

Today, with 4 million retail customers and counting, Carvana is both the fastest-growing and the most profitable public automotive retailer, and we’re just getting started. We continue to raise the bar for our customers as we tackle the enormous opportunity still ahead in the largest consumer vertical.

Working here means being part of a team that embraces change, celebrates creative problem solving, and always strives to be better. At Carvana, you’ll have the opportunity to take on meaningful challenges, learn quickly, and help shape the future of automotive retail. If you’re driven to grow and make an impact as part of a collaborative team, you’ll fit right in. Learn more about what it’s like to work here from the people that already do.

About the team and position
We are seeking a creative, people-powered, and highly organized Workplace Experience Specialist to support our Los Angeles office. This space has a creative agency feel and is home to our Brand, Creative, Product, and Engineering teams. Many of Carvana’s biggest ideas begin here.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the heart of our LA office. You’ll be the person who ensures the office runs smoothly while also making it a place people genuinely want to be. Think: part office manager, part culture carrier, part hospitality pro, part creative problem-solver. You’ll set the tone for the space, keep things organized behind the scenes, and create moments that make coming into the office feel intentional, energizing, and very Carvana.

If you’re equal parts organized and creative, love people, and thrive in fast-moving environments, we want to meet you.

This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Playa Vista, California.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the day-to-day office support for the Los Angeles headquarters, while also supporting the Oakland office remotely, to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.
  • Managing office supplies, snacks, equipment, vendors, and maintenance needs.
  • Creating a welcoming, inspiring environment that reflects the creative and collaborative culture of the LA office.
  • Planning and executing in-office events, team moments, and cultural touchpoints.
  • Partnering with our Office Operations, Facilities, Property, and Safety and Security teams to support the physical office environment.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for office-related questions and requests, helping team members navigate the workplace with clarity and ease.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how the office feels and functions, and turning ideas into action.
  • Building strong relationships across Brand, Creative, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Supporting company-wide culture campaigns and helping connect the LA office to the broader Carvana workplace experience.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A natural connector who enjoys helping others feel welcomed, supported, and included.
  • The energy in the room, whether that means being the friendly face, the calm under pressure, or the person people rely on to keep things running smoothly.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • A creative problem-solver with a positive, flexible, and can-do attitude. No problem is too daunting, and no task is too small.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starting, with the ability to turn ideas into execution.
  • Excited to be a front-facing culture leader in a fast-paced, in-person office environment.

What you should have/know

  • 3 or more years of experience in office management, workplace experience, hospitality, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day office operations and support in-office teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a high-visibility role with frequent interaction across teams and with leaders.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary for event setup or office logistics.

It would be great if you also have

  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, or office ticketing platforms.
  • A strong sense of aesthetic and space, with an eye for how things look and feel.
  • Previous event planning experience.

What we’ll offer in return

  • Full-Time position with a competitive salary.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.
  • 401K with company match.
  • A multitude of perks including student loan payments, discounts on vehicles, benefits for your pets, and much more.
  • A great wellness program to keep you healthy and happy both physically and mentally.
  • Access to opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge with others across the organization.
  • A company culture focused on high performance and bar-raising, with vast opportunity to learn and grow.

Other requirements
To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Of course, we’ll make any reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their jobs.
