Job Description

Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge in Splunk Architecture; Expertise in Enterprise Security for Splunk highly desirable
  • 10 + years of experience in information system architecture methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex solutions
  • Solid experience working with Windows Servers & Desktops, Linux/Unix, and databases
  • Collect data from forwarders and send to multiple indexes
  • Configure and confirm index-time knowledge
  • Create search time field extractions
  • Create searches and dashboards for each required use case
  • Install a search head, deployment server and indexers
  • Perform a scripted installation of universal forwarders
  • Configuration, Collection, and Comprehension
  • Deploy all specified configurations via deployment server

Qualifications

  • Problem solving & Analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • An extensive knowledge of application or infrastructure systems architecture, usually having experience with multiple system technologies.
  • Good command on consultative and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with partners and IT management and staff.
  • Strong project management skills and a strong analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of multiple application or system programming languages.
