Senior Account Director

Reports to VP, Group Sales Manager

Role

The Senior Account Director is an integral part of the Canadian selling team. The role would be leading several large multinational CPG accounts, with additional responsibilities on acquiring new business and tasked with the goal of growing advertiser revenues in Canada.

This role is a remote based position with minimal travel required, ideally located in the Greater Toronto Area.

Timing: Immediate

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategically build upon current and new business relationships to close profitable business sales, including new pharma revenue opportunities
  • Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objectives and can help potential customers to achieve their goals.
  • Create client-centric campaign options utilizing capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Engage with internal resources (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Management) to both uncover business driving opportunities and elevate client proposals.
  • Maintain weekly forecasting and reporting of lead development to management.

Position Requirements: 

  • Insatiable Intellectual Curiosity
  • Proven track record of advertising or brand revenue growth over consecutive years, as evidenced by at least two references relevant to the last three years
  • High energy results-oriented selling executive
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow through with clients.
  • Ability to operate independently with proven business judgment
  • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential.
  • Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Experience selling advertising products or in the CPG industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint and CRM Tools
  • University Degree Required
