Job Description:
This is a senior level position in application/system engineering. Responsibilities include defining and debugging analog IC products, developing reference circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
The products include, but are not limited to, customized/non-customized Power Management IC, standalone and digital interface converters, etc. Most of the products are below 30V for the voltage range, and below 100W for the power range.
Essential functions:
- Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and debug analog IC products in DC/DC converters, specifically in Memory Power Market, specifically DIMM market. Prior experience in designing and defining these products are highly desired.
- Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers
- Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for computing and networking markets.
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience in switch mode power supply (step-down converters), PMIC products is highly desired
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company desired
- MSEE or higher required

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $130,000 - $165,000.
