JOB OVERVIEW

The Business Systems Analyst IV is a senior individual contributor who operates at a high level of autonomy within the Product Management organization, leading complex analysis, configuration, and delivery work across multiple products or functional domains. This role serves as a subject matter expert and senior resource for colleagues—functioning as generalist or specialist depending on business need—and drives meaningful outcomes across cross-functional teams through deep product knowledge, direct client engagement, and close partnership with Product Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Execute Product Strategy: In collaboration with your Product Manager(s), assist in shaping the roadmap for your assigned Net Health product area, aligning development priorities with client needs and company objectives.
    • Maintain deep expertise in product features, platform architecture, and industry regulatory requirements; apply that knowledge to influence roadmap priorities and advance client outcomes
    • Participate in industry thought leadership efforts that shape product roadmap and library content strategy; contribute to client and patient advocacy relevant to the assigned product area
    • Collaborate with Sales to identify documentation and consulting opportunities; contribute to proposals and SOWs for professional services engagements
    • Serve as the domain SME across teams—providing guidance on best-practice workflows, system configuration, and documentation design for the assigned product domain
  • Full Product Ownership: Drive the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and planning to execution, launch, and post-launch improvements—ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction. Actively participate (and sometimes facilitate) in scrum events including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint review, and project status meetings for at least one team.
    • Lead end-to-end analysis, configuration, and delivery of complex client and internal projects within the assigned product area, ensuring timely and accurate completion
    • Configure, qualify, and deliver all levels of product documentation and associated modules; demo and validate updates against regulatory and industry standards
    • Develop, mentor, and coach team members through pairing, code/config review, and documentation—without formal management responsibility
    • Lead continuous quality improvement efforts across the team and product area, including process simplification and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Requirements Definition and Prioritization: Gather, articulate, and prioritize technical and client requirements for new features, balancing usability and technical feasibility; generate the stories and acceptance criteria that make up the feature backlog; facilitate story refinement sessions with Dev and QA to ensure consistent understanding and gather estimates.
    • Engage directly with clients through the full project lifecycle—from discovery through delivery—to ensure complete understanding of requirements and successful adoption
    • Proactively identify, define, and frame complex business and operational problems; independently propose and implement solutions that address root causes and drive measurable outcomes
    • Identify and resolve impediments impacting project delivery; communicate effectively across teams on multi-project client inquiries
  • Project and Program Management: In collaboration with your Product Manager, develop end-to-end project plans with clear timelines and milestones; coordinate teams to deliver on commitments; lead multi-day design sprints to surface challenges and opportunities; accept or reject delivered work within each Sprint.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities without loss of quality or pace; collaborate with immediate team members to meet team goals and KPIs
    • Anticipate and manage change, redirecting internal or external resources as needed to keep projects on track and aligned with organizational priorities
    • Collaborate across Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, Account Management, Sales, Implementations, and Support stakeholders
  • Technical Decision-Making: Utilize technical knowledge to inform decisions on system architecture, dependencies, and integrations within Net Health’s ecosystem; pull data to understand API specifications and review code; provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements to ensure stakeholder alignment and visibility.
    • Adhere to and advance Net Health technology policies, best practices, and internal platform standards; maintain technology usage consistent with Net Health policies and procedures
    • Manage documentation workflow for internal and client projects; ensure configuration is optimized for BI and Data Warehouse use
      QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in business systems analysis, product management, or a closely related domain—including demonstrated ability to develop novel approaches to complex, non-routine problems
  • Deep domain knowledge of the assigned product area; experience with EHRs, practice management systems, and healthcare billing systems
  • Product Management certification desired
  • Proven track record managing and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight
  • Experience guiding and influencing the work of others without formal authority
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
  • Ability to rapidly learn new product features and technologies and apply them directly to client and business needs
  • Self-directed with strong judgment about when to escalate; detail-oriented by default
    REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
  • Jira, Confluence
  • NetSuite
  • EHR / practice management / healthcare billing systems
  • AI tooling (effective prompt use)
