SOLVERE is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support federal programs by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive mission-critical decisions. This role requires expertise in advanced analytics, data governance, and federal compliance standards. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with government stakeholders, and ensure data integrity across all program activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design and execution of data analytics strategies aligned with federal program objectives.
  • Perform statistical modeling, trend analysis, forecasting, and data mining using large, complex datasets.
  • Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with federal data standards, including FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific requirements.
  • Present findings to government clients, support decision-making, and translate analytical results into operational recommendations.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading processes; implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
  • Mentor junior analysts, manage analytics workstreams, and contribute to project planning and documentation.
  • Develop automated workflows using Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain strict adherence to federal cybersecurity and privacy requirements, including handling of sensitive but unclassified (SBU) or controlled unclassified information (CUI).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 years of analytics experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science roles.
  • Expert SQL proficiency and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, or similar.
  • Experience with federal contracting, including working within FAR-regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and federal data security standards.
  • Dashboard development expertise using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of federal financial or operational systems (e.g., DoD, DHS, HHS, VA).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies in a federal environment.
  • Machine learning exposure for predictive analytics or anomaly detection.
  • Experience with data cataloging tools such as Collibra or Alation.

CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PREFERRED:

  • CompTIA Security+ (often required for DoD 8570/8140 compliance).
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or equivalent.
  • AWS/Azure Data Certifications (e.g., AWS Data Analytics Specialty, Azure Data Engineer).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • Ability to pass NACI Background Check.

PHYSICAL / TRAVEL, WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment with extended periods of sitting, typing, and screen time.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs for equipment or materials.
  • Clear speech and hearing for presentations and stakeholder discussions.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
