As a Data Architect / Data Model, you will design and manage scalable, secure data architectures to meet business needs. You will ensure the data governance, infrastructure optimization, and diverse data source integration. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will translate requirements into data architecture and produce schema diagrams and scripts to deploy those architectures. You will drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies, ensuring high data quality, and enabling analytics for decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Data Architectures: Create scalable, secure, and efficient data models, schemas, and architectures to support organizational needs and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business, analytics, and IT teams to translate requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Integrate and Manage Data Sources: Design strategies to consolidate and manage diverse data sources, enabling seamless data integration and accessibility.
  • Optimize Data Infrastructure: Analyze and improve database performance, storage solutions, and data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay Updated on Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and incorporate advancements in data engineering, cloud platforms, and big data technologies to enhance the organization's capabilities.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/data science technical or related experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
  • Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required.
  • Strong data modeling experience
  • Needs knowledge and experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Azure Cloud
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI
  • Huge bonus if they have experience with health care / insurance
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with start schema
  • Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
  • Ability to work independently
