As the Senior Director – Corporate Systems, you are responsible for defining the enterprise systems vision for the Finance, HR, and Real Estate domains, as well as ensuring these platforms effectively support the broader needs of the organization. You are the “voice of the corporate systems,” deeply understanding stakeholder requirements, regulatory obligations, operational workflows, and enterprise data needs to ensure they are incorporated into and prioritized within the roadmap, guided by business outcomes and measurable results.

You will lead the development of the corporate systems roadmap, setting direction and priorities across each functional domain. Additionally, you will be accountable for delivering the platforms, tools, and integrations that enable critical enterprise capabilities across Accounting & Finance, People Operations, Payroll, Workforce Management, Real Estate, Store Development, and our Foundational Technology teams.

The role requires a strategic, operational, and execution‑focused leader who is highly motivated and accountable for delivering stable, scalable, and efficient systems that drive enterprise KPIs, including financial accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance, employee experience, and cost optimization. You will lead the Corporate Systems team and partner closely with Engineering, Executive Management, and Business stakeholders, bringing cohesion and coordination to enterprise initiatives by blending long‑term strategy with pragmatic problem‑solving.

You must operate at both levels: strategically identifying opportunities for modernization, automation, and simplification, while tactically resolving system gaps, process inefficiencies, and business challenges that arise in Finance, HR, and Real Estate operations.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap - You own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of focus. Must be able to distill the “fire hose” of insights, data, and requests into an actionable vision inclusive of customer and business partners needs to build both incremental and innovative experiences for your customers, ensuring that value is delivered early, often, and in-sync with customer goals.  You are responsible for prioritizing features to support the enterprise cross-functional roadmap across all product groups.  This will also require saying up to date on industry trends and best practices in data and analytics and incorporating them into the strategy and execution.

  • Customer Value & Business Outcomes – Ensures a business outcome is achieved and customers receive a product that provides value, whether it’s an MVP or mature product with a new feature.  Goes above and beyond defining and delivering. Requires a solid understanding of the inter-relations of our business – financial, marketing, sales, legal, partnerships, customer service, stores, technical capabilities, user experience.

  • Know Your Business – Accountable for results.  Whether that is maximizing metrics, managing expectations, addressing customer feedback, or prioritizing the backlog.  Knowing your numbers, competitors, who is doing what, the next big thing, suggesting innovative ideas to POC and constantly striving to increase revenue and conversion are primary responsibilities for your role.  You will provide regular reporting to executive management along with strategies to constantly improve the numbers, hit revenue goals, and maximize return on investment.

  • Product Decisions – you will be called upon to make tough decisions, whether it is a go/no-go decision, balancing risks versus reward, pros/cons, dependencies, cost/benefit analysis, or ROI of resource investment.  You must stand behind your decision with facts and data.  Must be able to recognize when to change course and reverse a decision, subscribing to the philosophy of learning fast, and moving on.

  • Budget Management – Manage a multimillion-dollar capital and professional services budget; forecasting and creating business cases for additional funding, vendor selection and staff expansion.

Delivery & Execution

  • Delivery - Lead the development and execution of the data and analytics roadmap, inclusive of strategic planning sessions and annual and quarterly planning sessions.  In addition to overseeing the implementation and adherence to data governance and data lifecycle management processes.

  • Partner – Be the critical partner across the organization, aligning with key Business stakeholders and roadmaps and KPIs, working with Engineering to ensure that data infrastructure and tools are in place to support data-driven initiatives and linking with Program and Portfolio team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery against prioritized initiatives.

  • Ceremonies - Participates in standups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives. Fosters team collaboration, co-creation, and open communication.

  • Testing and Research – Formulates hypothesis to A/B test, prototype, or research, continually refining the product until desired outcome is achieved. Ensures successful tests are translated into new site features.

  • Vendors - Accountable for the management, selection, budget and oversight of a portfolio of 3rd party vendor partners. Regularly holding business reviews, monitoring SLAs, managing RFPs, negotiating contracts and managing budgets for those services.

  • Leader – Group product managers control the destiny of Products for the organization. You must evangelize your team’s services and roadmap; distill complex technical concepts into plain language for stakeholders, and advocate for the customer.  Ensuring alignment across your group and the Product organization.

  • Partnering - Partners with business and technology stakeholders to define and ensure successful delivery of our consumer and associate facing Commerce experiences. Manages stakeholder expectations and provides education to requestors on prioritization, ROI, and roadmap.
