We are building Ventura OS, a next-generation Connected TV platform designed to power premium streaming experiences. We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Management to help define and deliver key parts of this platform from the ground up. 

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in 0→1 environments, enjoys solving complex platform challenges, and wants to shape the future of TV. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

  • Own a Core Product DomainLead strategy and execution for a major area of Ventura OS (e.g., discovery, personalization, platform services, monetization, etc.
  • Drive Product Strategy & RoadmapTranslate high-level vision into clear product direction, roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives 
  • Deliver End-to-EndOwn the full product lifecycle—from concept and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration 
  • Operate in a 0→1 EnvironmentNavigate ambiguity, test new ideas, and build scalable solutions in a fast-moving, startup-like environment 
  • Partner Cross-FunctionallyWork closely with engineering, researchdesign, data science, and business teams to bring products to life 
  • Champion the Customer ExperienceBuild intuitive, engaging consumer experiences across streaming and TV interfaces 
  • Leverage Data to Drive DecisionsUse analytics, experimentation, and insights to inform product direction and measure success 
  • Lead & MentorMentor product managers and help elevate product thinking, execution, and impact across the team  

 

WHO YOU ARE:

 

  • Experienced Product Leader10+ years in product management, including ownership of complex, consumer-facing or platform products 
  • Platform & Systems ThinkerAble to think beyond features and design scalable, extensible product systems 
  • Execution-FocusedProven track record of shipping products from concept to launch in fast-paced environments 
  • Technically FluentComfortable working closely with engineers and understanding system architecture and tradeoffs 
  • Influential LeaderStrong ability to align and drive cross-functional teams without direct authority 
  • Data-DrivenDeeply analytical, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights 
  • Thrives in AmbiguityExcited by undefined problems and able to create clarity and momentum 
  • CTV / Streaming Experience (Preferred)Familiarity with Connected TV, OTT platforms, or digital media ecosystems is a plus

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$221,200$405,600 USD
