NewCore is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Marketing to join our growing Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role is a critical leadership position responsible for defining how NewCore positions, messages, and differentiates its products in the market.
The Director of Product Marketing will own the development and execution of our product marketing strategy - driving go-to-market clarity, competitive differentiation, and pipeline growth. This leader will work cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure consistent, compelling narratives that resonate with buyers and accelerate revenue.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned product marketer with experience in high-growth B2B environments, a track record of building scalable programs, and a passion for translating complex product capabilities into clear customer value. This person will operate as a player-coach, leading strategy while staying close to execution on high-priority initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage NewCore’s core use case messaging, positioning, and key collateral.
  • Lead the Product Marketing function as a player-coach, driving strategy while staying close to execution on high-priority initiatives.
  • Facilitate alignment with executive and cross-functional stakeholders on value proposition and key messaging.
  • Implement and manage cross-functional processes with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams supporting new product introduction, solution messaging, sales enablement, campaign development, and sales support.
  • Integrate AI tools into the collateral generation workflow to increase throughput of first drafts for datasheets, solution briefs, white papers, social posts, and blogs, while maintaining rigorous human editorial standards and technical accuracy review.
  • Manage the marketing product launch process, including acting as an evangelist for new product capabilities.
  • Understand market trends, customer requirements, product use cases, and buying behavior to support corporate strategic and tactical campaign activities.
  • Own day-to-day and long-term management of our competitive landscape, with the ability to adjust messaging, positioning, and supported collateral to maintain competitive differentiation.
  • Develop and curate strong messaging, campaigns, and sales and channel assets, including presentations, videos, demos, solution maps, white papers, and data sheets.
  • Educate the market about NewCore’s value offerings through multiple assets such as demos, white papers, workshops, presentations, and blogs.
  • Support the NewCore customer reference program to engage customers and showcase customer success, case studies, and value realization.
  • Work closely with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, Product, and Sales teams, as well as NewCore executives.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing and continuously analyze data to optimize strategies.
  • Work with and expand NewCore’s industry analyst program to advance the understanding and inclusion of NewCore’s offerings in analyst research and reports.
  • Clearly communicate information and ideas to individuals and teams in an articulate, focused, and compelling way; able to present, negotiate, and influence at C-level.
  • Attract, develop, engage, and retain talented team members by creating an environment where people can realize their full potential.
  • Use data to make decisions while leveraging instinct to innovate; always apply good judgment and business acumen.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a strong preference for experience in B2B SaaS or technology industries.
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply understand the technical aspects of solutions and position them effectively in the market.
  • PE- or VC-backed startup experience is a plus.
  • Track record of building new categories and/or pivoting existing market categories.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics relevant to NewCore’s space.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors, internal stakeholders, and end users.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, business, or related area.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear, compelling messaging and narratives.
  • Experience evangelizing products and public speaking at conferences and webinars.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Design.
  • Experience with analyst relations.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring results and informing decision-making and strategy development.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the year.
