Job Description- Lead software requirement analysis and definition for customer‑specific amplifier features.
- Own the architecture design for the Application software, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with product-line strategy.
- Review system and software architecture documents and guide internal teams in implementing the design.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for in‑vehicle LAN communication specifications (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.).
- Drive technical discussions with OEM customers and internal teams to clarify requirements, evaluate feasibility, and propose robust technical solutions.
- Conduct concept‑stage amplifier performance and functional feasibility assessments.
- Create, maintain, and present customer requirement specifications and related documentation.
- Lead and participate in C/C++ coding, peer reviews, and design reviews following Bose coding standards and software development processes.
- Guide junior engineers in best practices for coding, debugging, and documentation.
- Plan, execute, and review unit‑level and amplifier‑level software validation activities.
- Lead vehicle‑level integration testing with customers, ensuring timely issue identification and resolution.
- Create and maintain test procedures, results, and issue‑tracking documentation.
- Conduct deep‑level debugging for amplifier software, including root-cause analysis of complex issues involving software, hardware, and vehicle interfaces.
- Perform detailed software functionality evaluations and lead continuous improvements.
- Contribute to software process improvement (SPI) initiatives, promoting higher software quality, enhanced development efficiency, and improved architectural integrity.
- Support continuous enhancement of Bose's product-line framework for future amplifier programs.
- Support project planning, development scheduling, and risk management.
- Lead small‑to‑mid‑scale technical workstreams or software sub‑projects.
