We are seeking an Senior Engineering Program Manager to support the development and deployment of solar power plant component solutions that are critical to our solar tracking solutions.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the development and deployment of wire management solutions that are critical to Nextpower’s systems. In this role, you will oversee complex engineering programs from concept through production release, coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, supply chain, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for ensuring that products meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. As a senior leader, you will also mentor other program managers and help strengthen program management processes company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of engineering programs focused on innovative wire management solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and suppliers to define technical requirements and specifications.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with company and customer objectives.
  • Facilitate technical reviews, validation testing, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technical performance, supply chain, and product certification.
  • Ensure clear and effective cross-functional communication and documentation across the product lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in engineering program or project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing complex hardware development programs in renewable energy, technology, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with program and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety certifications, and regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.
  • Exposure to utility-scale solar, renewable energy, wire management solutions and fasteners.
  • Understanding of engineering product development processes for hardware and integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards such as UL, NEC, IEEE, or IEC.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is Pay Range (Applicable to California) $160,000.00 - $175,000.00, dependent on level of experience.
