The Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst manages and supports enterprise applications across various business functions, ensuring system reliability and data integrity while collaborating with users and vendors to resolve application issues.
Position Overview
The Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for managing, supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving enterprise business applications used across engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, sales, and service teams. This role acts as a key liaison between business users, IT, application vendors, and internal technical teams to ensure critical enterprise systems are reliable, secure, integrated, and aligned with business processes.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise applications in an engineering and manufacturing environment, with exposure to platforms such as NetSuite, MRP systems, Salesforce, SolidWorks PDM, Propel, Fulcrum, Grafana, reporting/data analytics tools, and system integrations.Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for business-critical enterprise applications, including NetSuite, MRP, Salesforce, SolidWorks PDM, Propel, Fulcrum, Grafana, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues, user access problems, workflow errors, data inconsistencies, integration failures, and performance concerns.
- Act as the first point of escalation for application-related incidents and service requests.
- Work with business users to understand issues, document requirements, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Coordinate with application vendors, managed service providers, and internal IT teams for advanced troubleshooting and system changes. Manufacturing, Engineering, and Business Systems Support
- Support applications used in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, production planning, quality, finance, and customer operations.
- Assist with systems supporting BOMs, work orders, inventory, procurement, manufacturing execution, product lifecycle management, engineering change orders, and production reporting.
- Support integration and data flow between systems such as ERP, MRP, CRM, PLM, PDM, MES, and reporting platforms.
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system reliability, usability, and process efficiency. NetSuite, MRP, and ERP Support
- Support NetSuite users across finance, operations, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and reporting functions.
- Troubleshoot ERP/MRP-related issues involving transactions, workflows, roles, permissions, saved searches, reports, and integrations.
- Assist with process improvements related to order management, procurement, inventory control, production planning, and financial workflows.
- Support data validation, user training, documentation, and system enhancement requests. Salesforce and Customer-Facing Application Support
- Support Salesforce users with account, opportunity, case, reporting, dashboard, workflow, and permission-related issues.
- Assist with Salesforce configuration support, data quality, user access, and integration troubleshooting.
- Partner with sales, service, and operations teams to improve CRM adoption and business process alignment. Engineering and Product Data Systems
- Support engineering applications such as SolidWorks PDM, Propel, PLM/PDM platforms, and related product data systems.
- Assist with engineering change management workflows, product records, part data, BOM structures, document control, and release processes.
- Support collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure accurate product and manufacturing data. Data Analysis, Reporting, and Dashboards
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reports, dashboards, saved searches, and operational metrics.
- Support reporting platforms such as Grafana and other analytics tools.
- Assist business teams with data extraction, validation, analysis, and visualization.
- Identify data quality issues and work with system owners to improve reporting accuracy.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams. Application Integration and Automation
- Monitor and support integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, middleware, and reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot failed data syncs, missing records, duplicate data, and integration errors.
- Assist with testing and validation of application updates, workflow changes, and integration enhancements.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to improve automation, reduce manual work, and strengthen data consistency across systems. ITSM, Documentation, and Change Management
- Manage application incidents, service requests, and change tickets using tools such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Document application configurations, support procedures, business processes, data flows, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in application testing, release management, user acceptance testing, and production change control.
- Maintain user guides, training materials, knowledge base articles, and support runbooks.
- Ensure changes are documented, approved, tested, and communicated appropriately.
Enterprise Application Support
Requirements
- • 5-8 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP/business systems, and manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, MRP/ERP, PLM/PDM, SolidWorks PDM, Propel, Fulcrum, Grafana, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, sales, and service business processes.
• Experience troubleshooting applications, integrations, workflows, reporting, data quality, and user access issues.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, PLM, PDM, MRP, MES, APIs/integrations, and analytics/reporting tools including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including BOMs, ECO/ECRs, inventory, production planning, quality, and traceability in regulated environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, vendor management, customer service, and problem-solving skills with familiarity in ITIL and change management practices.
