Our Team's Vision:

Our Finance team operates at the forefront of Zero Trust Segmentation, driving efficient growth and strategic partnerships with our key stakeholders. We are dedicated to building scalable infrastructure and optimizing our financial model to support Illumio’s ambitious business goals.

Our FP&A team is a highly visible function that deeply engages in the day-to-day operations of our business and serves to provide data, information, and actionable insights needed to make operational decisions that drive our business to our financial goals. We achieve this by closely partnering with our Executive team, senior leaders, and budget owners to align with functional goals and objectives and deliver sound financial models, forecasting & analysis, and resource planning with a focus on profitable growth. You will join a team that is highly committed to excellence, delivering value-added data-driven analysis, and operates under extreme ownership.

Your Impact:
  • Own the end-to-end management of Workday Adaptive Planning tool as system administrator, including the roadmap, model design, integrations, and data integrity.

  • Create and maintenance financial models, reports, dashboards, and key planning templates in Adaptive.

  • Lead the transition of company financial models from manual excel files to Adaptive.

  • Drive key processes in Adaptive including the annual operating plan, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting processes.

  • Build and maintain Adaptive Planning models, including dimensions, versions, levels, and accounts.

  • Partner with FP&A, IT, Accounting, and Business leaders to translate business needs into scalable planning solutions using Adaptive.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve FP&A processes using Adaptive and other tools.

  • Hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to automate workflows, improve data quality, and continuously drive improvements.

  • Provide training, documentation, and support to finance users and business partners.

  • Manage system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes in coordination with IT and external consultants.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Adaptive Planning best practices and stay current on new features and capabilities.

  • Support KPI development, QBR, and Board deck preparation.

  • Stay informed on company operations, competitive environment, and market trends to provide recommendations.

  • Any other task to help move the company forward.

Your Toolkit:
  • Energy and passion to build and drive results in a pre-IPO environment.

  • Proven expertise in Adaptive Planning for forecasting, modeling, and reporting. Adaptive Certifications.

  • Strong knowledge of Adaptive model architecture, including sheets, assumptions, and formulas.

  • Experience with Elastic Hypercube Technology (EHT) for scalability.

  • Familiarity with Adaptive Integration (e.g., OfficeConnect, APIs, or ETL tools).

  • Ability to build complex models and reconcile data between systems.

  • Understanding systems like NetSuite, or similar for integration.

  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and modeling skills.

  • Solid business acumen, including finance background.

  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter mentality, and ability to develop actionable recommendations.

  • Operate with extreme ownership and accountability, collaborative team player.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management Information Systems.

  • MBA or equivalent degree a plus.

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in a high growth technology or startup company.
