Job DescriptionThe Global Finance Organization is responsible for enabling Visa’s business strategy through disciplined financial planning, insightful analytics, and strong financial governance. We are seeking a strategically oriented Senior Finance Manager to serve as a key Finance Business Partner within the Global Finance function. This role provides financial leadership, decision support, and analytical insight across Finance sub-functions, and partners closely with Finance executives to ensure effective resource allocation, financial discipline, and delivery of strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in financial and general business analysis, preferably with a public company, and demonstrated experience collaborating with various internal departments and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnership & Strategic Support:
- Act as a primary Finance Business Partner to the Finance function, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support strategic and operational decision making.
- Collaborate with Finance Leadership Team members to evaluate initiatives, develop business cases, and assess financial impact, ROI, and trade‑offs.
- Support planning discussions, investment prioritization, and resource allocation decisions across the Finance organization.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Own global finance planning cycles including budgeting, quarterly outlooks, and rolling forecast across the consolidated consolidate finance sub-function budgets (Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Procurement, etc).
- Coordinate with Workforce Planner (WFP) to align headcount plans, compensation cycle, and headcount investments with budget and forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives and transformation efforts.
- Collaborate with the Finance Velocity Office (FVO) to evaluate and prioritize Finance transformation investments, location strategy and org design, build business cases, track benefits realization and report payback vs plan.
- Establish and track KPIs for the Finance function (e.g. days to close, forecast accuracy, process STP rates, audit findings, tax effective rate, sourcing savings), publish dashboards and OKRs.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE), which supports Visa’s FP&A teams, to prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reviews, management reports, and executive‑ready materials for Finance Leadership Team.
- Prepare CFO materials on finance performance, forecasts, and business cases, including presentations, emails, and special studies.
- Translate complex financial results into clear, concise and actionable narratives for senior finance stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives and transformation efforts.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial reporting and analyses.
Process Improvement & Governance:
- Identify opportunities to streamline planning, reporting, and analytical processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and quality of outputs.
- Support adherence to financial governance, spend policies, and internal controls across the Finance cost base.
- Partner with process owners and transformation teams to support change management and adoption of new tools and ways of working.
People Management:
- Establish working norms and SLAs with Finance stakeholders, ensure responsive business partnering and proactive communication of risks & opportunities
- Partner with FVO to lead change management for Finance Transformation initiatives, align cross-functional teams, manage communication and resolve resistance to new processes & tools
- Promote collaboration across time zones and cultures, ensure inclusive team practices and effective knowledge sharing.
- Model ethical leadership and compliance, reinforce internal controls and confidentiality standards with the planning and reporting processes.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis within a complex organization.
- 9+ years of finance experience, including business partnering with senior leaders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems, Tableau or similar analytics tools preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and modeling skills with attention to detail.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate insights effectively and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global environment.
- Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results.
- High energy, proactive mindset with strong commercial acumen and accountability.
- Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts with exceptional interpersonal and people management skills
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 149,800.00 to 240,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
