As a Sr. Healthcare Economics Consultant on our team, you will build financial models, analyze claims data and develop reports for stakeholders. You will have the ability to observe large-scale data trends as well as dig deep into the details. Our team is focused heavily on optimizing and automating many of our processes through various programming languages. As a Data Analyst, you will translate data into meaningful insight; and this insight will support strategic business decisions aimed at improving both the affordability and accessibility of healthcare for our members.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

- Model out scenarios to forecast impact of business strategies
- Provide consulting services to external clients to understand and improve pharmacy benefit insights
- Use detailed claims data to identify and solve a range of problems within the pharmacy and medical benefit
- Identify and lead process automation opportunities through various programming languages such as SQL and R
- Write queries from relational databases and summarize information in a meaningful way
- Prioritize and organizes own work to meet client deadlines
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to share insights on data trends across the organization
- Act as a resource for others with less experience
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of analytical experience
- 3+ years of work experience with SQL
- Advanced level of proficiency working with MS Excel including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, and VLOOKUPs
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare informatics and/or medical claims experience
- Intermediate level proficiency with SQL
- Beginner to intermediate level proficiency with R, Python and/or other statistical programs
- Beginner to intermediate level proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI or other visualization tools
- Proven ability to communicate and present data to stakeholders
