As a Senior Auth0 Engineer, you will focus specifically on deep Auth0 architecture, optimization, and telemetry. You will evaluate existing custom databases and workarounds to design a scalable, long-term migration plan aligned with Auth0 best practices.
Position Responsibilities:
- Minimize handoffs, accelerate delivery, ensure knowledge transfer, and maintain shared accountability.
- Build new and maintain existing features by contributing across the full technical stack.
- Debug and resolve production issues and implement fixes for them.
- Add Auth0 operational telemetry.
- Collaborate inside your team to solve technical and non-technical challenges.
- Add discovery and target architecture.
- Author technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of dedicated experience building, configuring, and securing enterprise applications specifically using Auth0.
Strong mastery of OAuth, OIDC, & SAML.
- Experience with validating log streaming, end-to-end correlation requirements, key authentication and security events, session and token health signals, and alerting guidance.
Direct experience analyzing and modifying custom databases, custom user stories, and complex account-linking workarounds.
Experience writing and debugging custom Auth0 Actions, Rules, Hooks, or external middleware APIs.
Experience working effectively in a distributed, remote-first team.
Experience in the identity and access management (IAM) domain.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field
IAM Technology-specific training/certification a plus
