The Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Lifecycle, Engagement to join our dream team! Reporting directly to the Director of Lifecycle, you will be the "Engagement and Conversion Catalyst" for the brand. Your mission is to turn "just browsing" into "just bought" by owning the experience from “hello” through “thank you!”

This isn't just about managing channels; it’s about earning the trust of our community. You will be responsible for scaling our list growth, deepening personalization through AI, and ensuring every new subscriber feels the "Little Sleepies" magic through a seamless, high-value engagement with our brand.

What you’ll do: 

  • Architect the Entry Journey: Own the strategic roadmap for all on-site and off-site acquisition methods, including pop-ups and lead-generation hooks.
  • Scale High-Impact Automations: Lead the evolution of our "always-on" programs—for example Welcome, Lead Conversion, and Abandon flows—to ensure they are scalable, personalized, and high-converting.
  • Identify New Touchpoints: Identify and design opportunities across the user lifecycle to convert, engage, and delight our families.
  • Personalization & Gamification: Implement innovative and engaging methods of 0P data collection, gamification, AI, and predictive modeling to deliver a data-driven 1-to-1 experience.
  • Cross-Functional Catalyst: Maintain close partnerships with the Site/PMO, Paid Media, Merchandising, Brand, and the Retention & Loyalty manager to ensure a frictionless transition through the funnel.
  • Data & Deliverability Stewardship: Provide accountability for performance, data and analysis, list health, hygiene, and inbox placement, ensuring our data remains actionable and compliant.
  • Continuous Optimization: Operationalize a robust A/B and multivariate testing plan to improve engagement, conversion, and achieve our goals.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Experience: 6+ years in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, or Growth, preferably within a fast-paced B2C e-commerce or D2C brand.
  • Strategy First: A proven track record of building strategic roadmaps and learning agendas that drive measurable channel growth.
  • Tech-Savvy: Deep experience with major customer engagement platforms (like Klaviyo, Bloomreach, or Iterable) and a foundational grasp of data schemas and APIs.
  • AI/ML Fluency: Comfort working with data scientists to productize machine learning models (e.g., propensity modeling or recommendation ranking).
  • Analytical Mindset: Expert-level knowledge of A/B testing and a love for translating complex data into actionable insights (SQL skills are a major plus!).
  • Compliance Expert: Well-versed in email and SMS best practices and global regulations (GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, etc.).
  • The "Little Sleepies" Spirit: A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and loves to innovate
