Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence leads enterprise BI capabilities within Omnicell’s IT organization. This role is responsible for delivering scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytics that enable data-driven decision-making across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Service, and Corporate functions. The role partners with enterprise applications, data engineering, and business leaders to standardize KPIs, modernize reporting platforms, and drive measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned to corporate priorities and IT strategy.
  • Partner with business executives and functional teams to define KPIs and reporting solutions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to IT and business leadership by converting business performance data into insights, recommendations, and decision support.
  • Standardize enterprise metrics, data definitions, and reporting logic to improve data trust and consistency.
  • Lead design and delivery of dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Oversee report lifecycle management, including requirements definition, development, testing, release management, change control, and production support.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and enterprise application teams to ensure scalable data models and pipelines.
  • Establish governance, data quality, and reporting controls aligned with security and compliance requirements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing BI team; manage performance, development, and delivery outcomes.
  • Improve reporting adoption, usability, and analytics maturity across the enterprise.
  • Establish an operating model for BI intake, prioritization, release planning, and service delivery to ensure the highest-value work is sequenced and delivered with discipline.
  • Monitor service performance, defects, user issues, and technical debt; drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement actions to improve reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Support audit readiness and disciplined management of critical metrics, master data dependencies, and controlled reporting workflow
  • Identify opportunities to apply automation, AI-assisted analytics, predictive indicators, and process improvements where appropriate to increase business impact.
  • Introduce AI-assisted development tooling and apply emerging AI capabilities to BI and analytics delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in BI, analytics or data warehousing
  • 3+ years in leadership role(s)
  • Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and SQL/data modeling
  • Experience delivering enterprise reporting solutions in complex environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience working with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, Finance, Supply Chain)
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI), Microsoft stack, SQL, and front-end frameworks (React)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred

Compensation Details

Base range of $116,340.00-270,076.00

Omnicell takes a market-informed approach to compensation. Compensation for this role is determined based on geographic location, experience, and skills, ensuring alignment with both local market benchmarks and internal equity.
