At Qualia, we've built the leading B2B real estate technology that transforms the home buying and selling experience into a simple, secure, and enjoyable process. Our SMB and Enterprise products bring together users from across the real estate ecosystem---homebuyers and sellers, lenders, title and escrow agents, and real estate agents---onto a single shared digital closing platform, providing greater clarity and transparency to real estate transactions. Today, through our business customers across the country, millions of consumers use Qualia to close on homes every year.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The FP&A team at Qualia is the analytical engine of the Finance organization. We own the company's planning and forecasting processes, serve as trusted business partners to functional leaders, and produce the financial insights that inform our most important strategic decisions, all in an environment where AI is actively reshaping how we work.

As a Senior Manager of FP&A, you will be a central force in shaping how Qualia plans, forecasts, and makes decisions as we scale. You will own high-impact analytical workstreams end-to-end, serve as the go-to financial partner for senior functional leaders, and help set the direction for how the FP&A function evolves, from the models we build to the processes we run to the way we leverage AI to work smarter. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with direct exposure to executive and C-level audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own Qualia's planning and forecasting infrastructure: Lead the design, build, and continuous improvement of our operating model, annual plan, and long-range financial plan, ensuring they accurately reflect the current and future state of the business
  • Drive financial rigor at the executive level: Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting, Board materials, and investor-facing financial packages; distill complex financial results into clear narratives that drive action at the leadership level
  • Be the senior financial voice for key business units: Serve as a strategic thought partner to VP and C-level leaders across some key functions throughout Qualia; proactively surface insights, flag risks, and bring independent analytical judgment to the most consequential decisions
  • Lead high-impact ad hoc analysis: Own complex, cross-functional analytical projects including M&A support, fundraising preparation, scenario planning, and strategic initiative evaluation from end to end
  • Architect scalable FP&A processes and automation: Identify and eliminate structural inefficiencies in how we plan, report, and analyze; build AI-powered workflows and automation that meaningfully reduce manual effort and improve the quality and speed of financial insights
  • Set the analytical standard: Establish best practices for financial modeling, data quality, and insight communication across the FP&A function; be the person others look to for how financial work should be done
YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company or experience in Investment Banking or Consulting, with a demonstrated track record of increasing scope and ownership over time
  • Deep financial modeling expertise - able to architect complex, multi-driver models from scratch, pressure-test assumptions, and communicate analytical conclusions with conviction to executive audiences
  • SaaS business model fluency - strong command of SaaS metrics (ARR, NDR, GDR, CAC, LTV, cohort analysis) and the ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes across a multi-product, multi-revenue-stream business
  • Executive-level communication - proven ability to distill nuanced financial analysis into crisp, actionable narratives for C-suite and Board audiences; equally effective in writing and in the room
  • Strategic business partner - experienced working directly with VP and C-level leaders, earning trust through sound judgment, intellectual honesty, and a point of view, not just analysis
  • Owner mentality - comfortable taking full end-to-end ownership of complex, ambiguous workstreams with minimal direction; you define the problem as much as you solve it
  • AI-forward - actively uses AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, and build more scalable financial infrastructure; both experimenting, and ultimately operationalizing

Based in San Francisco, CA, with the ability to work in the office a minimum of two days per week is required.

This role has a base annual salary of $175,000-$210,000 plus a competitive equity and benefits package. (Salary to be determined by relevant experience, location, knowledge, and skills of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
