Senior Manager, Production

Location: Milpitas, CA | Fully Onsite

About the Role
We’re seeking a senior manufacturing leader to own and elevate production performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. This role is fully onsite and highly visible, with end‑to‑end accountability for daily execution and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who thrives on the floor, leads through data and accountability, and consistently delivers results through strong teams and disciplined execution.

What You’ll Own

  • Full ownership of production performance, delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, throughput, cost, and on‑time delivery
  • Daily leadership of production teams, setting priorities, allocating resources, and removing barriers to execution
  • Development and execution of production plans that align demand, capacity, labor, and materials
  • Leadership and development of production managers and supervisors, building a strong, accountable leadership bench
  • Driving continuous improvement using Lean / Six Sigma methods, moving the organization from reactive to structured problem solving
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action ownership for quality, delivery, or performance issues
  • Ownership of production KPIs and dashboards, using data to anticipate issues and drive decisions—not just report outcomes
  • Cross‑functional partnership with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and NPI to scale production reliably
  • Ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements
  • Leading production readiness and execution for new product introductions

What Success Looks Like

  • A safer operation with improving safety metrics and strong employee ownership
  • Higher throughput and schedule attainment with controlled labor and overtime
  • Improved quality performance with sustained corrective actions
  • Engaged, developed leaders who run disciplined daily operations
  • A production organization that plans ahead rather than reacts

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leader of complex manufacturing or production operations with full performance accountability
  • Strong floor presence with the ability to lead through clarity, urgency, and follow‑through
  • Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost in fast‑moving environments
  • Advanced problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Experience leading and developing managers and frontline leaders
  • Working knowledge of MRP and production planning systems

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical or engineering field strongly preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Prior hands‑on experience leading plant or production operations

Preferred

  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency; exposure to Tableau or similar tools
  • Experience supporting NPI and production scale‑up

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite role with daily presence on the production floor
  • Fast‑paced, performance‑driven manufacturing operation
  • Limited travel
