ABOUT THE ROLE
S&S is seeking a Sr Manager of Marketing Project Management to lead and evolve the Marketing Project Management Office. This role supports the planning, execution, and delivery of work across the Marketing department and serves as the operational hub for workflows, project governance, resource visibility, and cross functional execution.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader oversees the marketing project management team, owns project management processes and tools, and partners closely with Marketing leadership and cross functional stakeholders to improve how work moves through the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong project management leadership, can balance strategic oversight with hands on execution, and uses data and reporting to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and support better decision making.
This is an opportunity to shape and scale the Marketing PMO, refine ways of working, and help the department deliver high quality work on time with greater clarity, consistency, and accountability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the project management team by developing project managers and coordinators through direction, coaching, prioritization support, and performance guidance.
- Own the marketing project management function including intake, prioritization, workflow design, timeline management, status reporting, and delivery governance.
- Oversee the Marketing PMO COP tool ensuring it is configured, adopted, maintained, and optimized to support workflows and leadership visibility.
- Create and improve project management processes including templates, standards, and best practices.
- Build and manage workback schedules with clear milestones, dependencies, approvals, and deadlines.
- Partner with Marketing leadership to support planning, prioritization, resource visibility, and execution against business objectives.
- Provide consistent reporting on project status, workload, risks, bottlenecks, timelines, and process efficiency.
- Serve as an operational excellence partner by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve cross functional collaboration.
- Facilitate project meetings and risk reviews to keep work moving and ensure alignment.
- Collaborate across teams including Ecommerce, Creative and Brand, Campaign and Content Marketing, Events, Product Marketing, Communications, Commercial Strategy and Analytics, Sales, and other partners.
- Support change management for new workflows, tools, processes, and ways of working.
- Ensure on time delivery with clear accountability, strong communication, and alignment to business priorities.
- Stay adaptable to changing business needs while maintaining structure and momentum across active workstreams.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Ten or more years of project or program management experience with a background leading complex, cross functional initiatives.
- Experience leading a PMO or centralized workflow function within marketing, creative, ecommerce, or business operations.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of project managers, coordinators, or operations professionals.
- Hands on experience with project management tools including implementation, optimization, and workflow design. Experience with Optimizely COP is a plus.
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and translate insights into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide clear updates to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- PMP or related certification preferred but not required.
- Experience creating executive level reporting on project status, capacity, bottlenecks, and operational performance.
