The Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy will support the Senior Director, Strategy on driving transformational growth across our portfolio of brands. This role is designed as a stepping-stone for a future Director-level leader, providing deep exposure to cross-functional collaboration, innovation strategy, and consumer-centric marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can define how we launch innovations, embed a mindful snacking approach across all categories and align our portfolio across categories to the day-to-day of the consumer.

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

How you will contribute
Innovation & Growth Acceleration
- Partner with Category leadership to define the strategy for launching innovations across brands in service of our big growth missions
- Identify, drive and champion bold innovation ideas across categories/brands that will drive category expansion, brand differentiation, and growth sufficiency
- Frame business case(s) demonstrating incremental growth and value creation for our highest priority innovation
- Assess the sufficiency of our innovation pipeline and partner with Category, Finance, MSC, R&D, and Sales teams to support breakthrough growth
Embedding Future Fit Snacking Across Categories
- Collaborate with Insights & Analytics teams to understand changing consumer behaviors and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
- Partner with Innovation and Brand teams to drive household penetration and increase consumer awareness of new product lines
- Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing and regulatory teams to embed sustainability into innovation strategy
- Develop roadmaps as needed, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed future fit capabilities to serve evolving consumer and customer needs
What you will bring
- 7+ years of experience in category strategy, innovation, consumer marketing or R&D strategy role within CPG or relevant industry
- University degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
- Ability to shape long-term growth strategies and challenging existing paradigms
- Experience working with product innovation teams, category management or R&D functions
- Deep understanding of consumer trends, wellness movements and modern marketing approaches
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across marketing, R&D and category teams
- Strong leadership presence with the ambition and capability to take on a Director-level role next
- Proficient in category data analysis, consumer insights tools and marketing strategy framework
