Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Procurement Services is responsible for leading complex, high-visibility customer engagements while helping lead a team focused on excellence and continuous improvement. This role supports initiatives including negotiation support, application rationalization, renewal optimization, demand management, vendor consolidation, and process re-engineering.

Role Description

  • Lead procurement solution delivery for customers, applying strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset while effectively guiding executive-level discussions.
  • Support complex vendor negotiations focused on spend reduction and optimization of contractual terms.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and generate actionable insights to help procurement teams realize savings and establish effective governance frameworks.
  • Support leadership in managing portions of the procurement delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to process improvement, training, and solution development with the goal of growing the practice year over year, exceeding customer commitments, and achieving strong customer satisfaction (CSAT) results.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across the workstream and support additional cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of sales tools, resources, and training programs that strengthen understanding within SHI and among clients of the value our solutions provide.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior internal stakeholders, executive-level customer contacts, delivery resources, partners, sales architects, and others to drive organizational success.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks through comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency planning.
  • Report on performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support future planning.

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or relevant work experience required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting and managing relationships with large, complex enterprises.
  • 3+ years of experience in a management position required.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale or high-visibility customer engagements.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
