Position Summary

Insightec is expanding its Market Access and Reimbursement Support team to support ongoing commercialization. The Sr. Reimbursement & Support Manager is a field-based role responsible for supporting the commercial team, physician and hospital accounts through reimbursement education of coding, coverage, and payment.

 The position requires company cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing, professional education and prior authorization teams. The Manager serves as the primary reimbursement contact for INSIGHTEC accounts and the commercial team.

The role is primarily focused on field-based account reimbursement support (approximately 80%), with a smaller emphasis on payer engagement and policy support (approximately 20%).

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and resolve physician and hospital reimbursement challenges in collaboration with account and prior authorization teams
  • Lead reimbursement-related calls, meetings, and discussions with new and existing accounts
  • Support field commercial teams with reimbursement needs across all account stages
  • Develop and deliver reimbursement and health economics education, onboarding, tools, and training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate value messaging, coverage strategies, and reimbursement issues
  • Assess, forecast, and troubleshoot coverage and payment challenges for hospitals and physicians
  • Manage reimbursement deliverables including customer facing tools related to billing and coding, clinical publications, and reimbursement analyses
  • Monitor reimbursement, customer, and competitive environments to identify opportunities and risks
  • Develop reimbursement tools and tactics to support provider coverage and payment
  • Track reimbursement policy trends impacting INSIGHTEC’s technology
  • Provide actionable assessments of local reimbursement environments to guide strategy and execution
  • Engage local payers to request coverage
  • Plan and facilitate meetings as needed with local payers and KOLs to influence coverage
  • Travel, as needed, to support reimbursement execution, including site visits, commercial meetings, trainings, and tradeshows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  •  8+ years of experience in reimbursement, or market access within the medical device industry
  • Deep expertise in U.S. public and commercial payer reimbursement, including coverage, coding, and payment methodologies
  • Demonstrated field reimbursement management experience, including hospital capital equipment with disposables, CPT coding processes, revenue cycle management, physician payment, as well as Medicare and private payer models
  • Strong understanding of provider, payer, and revenue cycle decision-making, including private payer medical policies and contracts
  • Experince working cross-functionally in regulated environments, partnering with clinical, commercial, and policy stakeholders
  • Ability to drive execution of plans with support from other functions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply clinical and economic evidence to develop and position compelling value propositions for providers, payers, professional societies, and Medicare
  • Background in physician practice, payer organizations, health economics/outcomes research, or industry reimbursement roles
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence, manage conflict, and drive alignment
  • Analytical competencies to structure complex issues, synthesize key points, communicate and present in an easily understandable manner
  • Ability to grow with the organization and willingness to assume additional responsibilities over time
  • Solid computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
