Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Strategy will serve as a key commercial leader overseeing Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Business Development for the U.S. market. Reporting to senior leadership, this role bridges corporate strategy with market execution — translating global priorities into actionable U.S. growth initiatives across pricing, distribution, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

  • Develop and manage RGM frameworks including pricing architecture, trade spend optimization, and promotional effectiveness.

  • Analyze category, channel, and customer data to identify revenue and margin expansion opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales and Finance to set pricing strategies aligned with volume and profitability targets.

  • Build and maintain forecasting models to support business planning and scenario analysis.

Business Development

  • Identify and evaluate new channel, retail, and partnership opportunities to expand Samyang’s U.S. footprint.

  • Lead end-to-end business development initiatives from prospecting through negotiation and onboarding.

  • Build strategic relationships with key retail, foodservice, and distributor partners.

  • Support new product and market entry strategies in coordination with Global HQ.

Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between U.S. operations and Global HQ, ensuring alignment on priorities and performance.

  • Lead annual business planning cycles, KPI development, and executive-level reporting.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align commercial plans.

  • Present strategic recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, RGM, business development, or commercial planning within CPG, food & beverage, or FMCG.

  • Proven track record managing pricing, trade, or revenue optimization programs.

  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Experience working with or within global organizations, preferably with overseas HQ structures.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field required.

  • Korean language proficiency is a plus but not required.

The base salary for this position is between $110,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Samyang America is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals. We do not discriminate in employment decisions on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
