Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager, Sales, you bring extensive sales experience and coaching skills to the forefront. You have a continuous drive to up-level your team, setting the standard for excellence. You lead and coach sales managers and teams and shift the performance curve towards consistent improvement.

Your expertise in data analysis allows you to navigate conversations at both executive and representative levels, telling the right story and identifying key areas of opportunity and risk. Success is measured by your ability to develop excellent managers who consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities encompass ensuring team alignment with the mission, fostering engagement, and achieving goals within the sales stack. You collaborate with senior sales leadership, actively contributing to setting and delivering on monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Your curiosity challenges the status quo, driving the team towards continual improvement. Compensation:

$125,000-$145,000 / year ($87,500-$101,500 base) + uncapped earning potential + equity

Schedule:

Ability to work full time (45 hrs/week) with an 9 hour shift, ranging within 5am-7pm local time. Ability to work at least one Saturday every 2-3 months. 

What you do each day:  

  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of both sales dynamics and organizational strategy, providing visionary direction to the sales organization
  • Navigate shifts in market trends, maintaining a competitive edge, and ensuring the organization's adaptability to dynamic market conditions
  • Orchestrate and lead dynamic sales teams, providing guidance, shaping activities, and fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement
  • Position the sales organization as a forward-thinking and influential force in the market, contributing to its reputation as an industry leader
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth
  • Establish thought leadership within the industry, representing the company at conferences and events
  • Provide advanced leadership in shaping and executing overarching sales strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
  • Lead and oversee multiple teams of sales professionals, guiding managers to refine team approaches and drive success through collective achievements
  • Foster collaboration with other departments, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals
  • Champion visionary strategic leadership in identifying and engaging potential customers, guiding the team across diverse channels

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years experience in sales management in a high-growth environment (SAAS preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading teams of 25+ reps
  • Proven experience leading second line leaders, including hiring, developing, and managing front line managers
  • Experience using AI tools to increase quality and efficiency of work

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected average on target earnings of $125,000-$145,000 plus uncapped commission. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
