Job Summary
Masimo is seeking a highly analytical, results-oriented leader to join its Strategy & Business Development team. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping Masimo’s long-term growth strategy and driving execution across key strategic priorities, including new market expansion, enterprise strategy development, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
This individual will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate complex opportunities, develop data-driven insights, and translate them into actionable strategic initiatives. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and requires a strong combination of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of the MedTech landscape.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Support development of Masimo’s enterprise and business unit strategies across core monitoring and adjacent markets
- Conduct market landscaping, competitive intelligence, and white space analysis
- Lead annual strategic planning process to define 5-7 year strategic roadmap across portfolio and geographies
- Develop robust market models (TAM/SAM/SOM) and scenario-based forecasts for new opportunities
- Serve as a thought partner to business leaders on high-priority, consulting-style strategic projects
- Support executive decision-making through development of clear, data-driven materials for senior leadership
M&A and Business Development
- Lead end-to-end deal processes including sourcing, evaluation, diligence, and execution
- Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic targets aligned with Masimo’s innovation roadmap
- Develop financial models (DCF, IRR, accretion/dilution) and strategic rationale for transactions
- Partner with cross-functional deal teams to assess deal risks and synergies
Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives
- Manage a portfolio of active partnerships, continuously evaluating strategic relevance and financial performance
- Structure and operationalize partnerships including licensing, co-development, distribution, and strategic investments
- Own and drive cross-functional strategic initiatives tied to Masimo’s highest-priority growth areas
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
- Strong financial modeling and valuation experience (DCF, comparables, IRR/ROIC analysis)
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting M&A transactions or strategic partnerships
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or MedTech industries.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 - $205,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Domestic and International travel required.
