Job Description

Senior Manager, Technical Standards & Operations

The Senior Manager, Technical Standards and Operations is responsible for defining, implementing, and measuring adherence to internal technical standards across the commercial lifecycle—from sales engagement through delivery and ongoing customer success for the Hospital Patient Monitoring Business in North America.

Your role:

  • Translates enterprise strategy into day-to-day execution by establishing clear technical processes, enforcing consistency, and reducing variability across teams. The focus is practical: create standards teams can follow, measure compliance, and fix what breaks.
  • Define and document internal standards for technical resources and processes across sales support, implementation, and customer success. Maintain process documentation, role definitions, and engagement models to ensure clarity and consistency. Ensure standards align with enterprise goals and evolving business needs.
  • Establish mechanisms to measure adherence to internal technical standards, including KPIs, dashboards, and periodic reviews. Identify gaps in compliance and partner with functional leaders to drive corrective actions. Escalate systemic issues and risks to the leadership and a proposed solution.
  • Support standardized handoffs and workflows between sales, delivery, and customer success. Help reduce rework, delays, and confusion caused by inconsistent technical practices. Improve visibility into technical resource utilization and readiness through standardized processes.
  • Support rollout and adoption of standards through training materials, playbooks, and communications. Collect feedback from field teams and customers to continuously improve technical processes. Partner with Sales Leadership, Standards, Commercial Operations, Delivery, and other Enablement teams to ensure tools support standardized execution.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in technical operations, service delivery, customer success, or commercial operations, preferably in healthcare technology or regulated B2B environments. Hands-on experience defining, implementing, or enforcing operational or technical standards.
  • Your skills include strong understanding of sales engineering, implementation, and customer success workflows. Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. Ability to influence across teams without formal authority.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, required, or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sales, Marketing or equivalent field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a clear, concise communicator who can translate strategy into execution. You also have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.
