This is a unique opportunity to build and influence foundational capabilities, including journey mapping, segmentation strategy, and marketing models, while helping evolve BECU’s shift toward lifecycle marketing. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, connecting the dots across teams, channels, and moments that matter most. Your work will directly impact organizational growth and deepen member relationships in a rapidly transforming environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lifecycle Strategy & Journey Ownership: You’ll lead the development of end-to-end member journeys, mapping key lifecycle stages and defining the moments that matter to drive engagement, retention, and growth.

  • Segmentation Strategy Development: You’ll build and operationalize segmentation strategies, translating enterprise segments into actionable marketing approaches that better serve diverse member needs.

  • Marketing Model Strategy: You’ll own key marketing models (e.g., next best offer, attrition) from a strategic lens—identifying gaps, refining existing models, and shaping future capabilities.

  • Channel Expansion & Strategy: Guide an integrated channel strategy across digital and traditional platforms, with a focus on expanding into under-utilized channels to broaden reach, increase engagement, and drive measurable impact.

  • Data-Driven Insights & Performance Analysis: You’ll translate data into actionable insights, partnering with analytics teams to inform strategies, evaluate performance, and improve marketing effectiveness.

  • Forecasting & ROI Optimization: You’ll lead forecasting efforts and ROI analysis, helping the organization make informed, high-impact marketing investments.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You’ll collaborate closely with product, analytics, finance, and MarTech teams to align strategies, define requirements, and ensure seamless execution.

  • Marketing Planning & Execution Oversight: You’ll oversee marketing plans to ensure alignment with business objectives, while guiding teams to execute against a cohesive lifecycle strategy.

  • Business Reviews & Executive Communication: You’ll own performance storytelling—consolidating insights, leading business reviews, and delivering clear, strategic recommendations to leadership.

  • Budget & Financial Stewardship: You’ll manage marketing budgets, ensuring accurate tracking, efficient allocation, and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Leadership & Influence: You’ll mentor team members and act as a strategic thought partner, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. It's about making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN:

  • Builder-Level Impact: Shape and define new marketing capabilities, influencing how lifecycle marketing is brought to life at scale

  • Strategic Ownership: Operate at a high level, partnering with leadership to define strategy, roadmaps, and long-term vision

  • End-to-End Visibility: Work across the full member lifecycle, gaining exposure to onboarding, cross-sell, engagement, and retention strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications, or equivalent work or education-related experience

  • Seven years of experience as a Marketing Manager or related role

  • Project management skills with a strong service focus and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
