About us:
At Fullbay, our mission is simple — to create safer roads for our families and yours. As leaders in the heavy-duty repair industry, we power shops with technology that helps them run smarter and more efficiently. As an AI-First company, we invite artificial intelligence to eliminate friction, spark innovation, and drive efficiencies in every conversation— for our teams and our customers. Fullbay is the number one cloud-based shop management software for commercial repair shops and is growing fast. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and help shape the next phase of growth for the company.

Position Overview:

Fullbay Payments is a fast-growing, strategically important part of that mission — a payments platform purpose-built for the heavy-duty repair industry that simplifies how shops get paid and how money moves through the ecosystem. The Sr. Product Manager, Payments reports to the Sr. Director of Product and works closely with the VP of Payments on strategy, roadmap prioritization, execution of key initiatives, and refinement of product workflows to improve business outcomes.

This role is well-suited to someone who knows the B2B payments world — AR, AP, payment facilitation, and fintech. Familiarity with adjacent fintech areas such as spend management and embedded payroll is a plus.

You will share ownership of the KPIs that determine how Fullbay Payments grows — including payment volume, activation, and attach rate for new logos, monetization, and adoption of payment methods like Pay by Bank and Instant Payout. You are responsible for product decisions, workflow improvements, and cross-functional coordination required to advance our Payments strategy.

The Right Wrench for the Job

In a heavy-duty shop, the best diagnosticians don't just read the error code — they understand the whole system well enough to know why it triggered, what it's connected to, and what breaks next if you ignore it. That's the depth this role requires.

You're the right fit if you've lived inside a payments product long enough to know that activation rate and attach rate tell very different stories — and you know which lever to pull on each. You can write a crisp user story in the morning, hold your own in a Stripe integration discussion in the afternoon, and walk a shop owner through why Pay by Bank is the right call for their operation before the end of day.

This isn't the role for someone who measures success by features shipped. If your instinct is to close the ticket and move to the next one without asking whether the KPI actually moved — this isn't your shop. But if you're the kind of PM who owns outcomes, not just output, and you're ready to help build something that changes how the heavy-duty repair industry gets paid — we'd like to talk.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Program Management

  • Payments Strategy & Roadmap: Advise on roadmap and execute strategic priorities. Use market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities across B2B payments, AR, and AP workflows, with a focus on payment volume growth and attach rate for new logos.
  • Roadmap Planning & Execution: Lead roadmap planning sessions and translate strategic priorities into a clear, sequenced execution plan tied to KPI targets. Build a deeply embedded fintech experience that reduces friction, increases monetization, and lays the foundation for expansion into adjacent products such as Virtual Bank Account (VBN), Spend Management, Embedded Payroll, and Remote Deposit Capture.
  • Product Definition & Delivery: Translate strategic priorities into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and design. Establish measurable outcomes mapped to owned KPIs — activation rate, attach rate, monetization, and take rates — and test completed work to confirm requirements and expected value have been delivered.
  • Workflow & Friction Reduction: Analyze customer and partner experiences to identify friction points and drive improvements through integrations and APIs, particularly across onboarding, payment method selection (credit card, Pay by Bank, Instant Payout), and Capital offer flows. Own outcomes for CC monetization, overall platform monetization, Pay by Bank / Link usage, Instant Payout adoption, and Capital loan acceptance and take rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to deliver payments features that drive revenue and margin outcomes. Prioritize bugs and client requests that affect activation and retention, and work with external payment partners such as Stripe to shape integration roadmaps for current and future capabilities.
  • Go-to-Market & Commercialization: Support go-to-market efforts including packaging, pricing, messaging, and positioning, with particular focus on driving attach for new logos at or near deal close. Contribute to product training, integration usability, and field marketing deliverables, and support value proposition and ROI analysis to drive growth for customers and partners.
  • Discovery & Customer Insight: Conduct discovery and user research to deepen understanding of customer needs in the heavy-duty repair and B2B payments space. Use qualitative and quantitative research to inform prioritization across current and future product areas, and identify growth opportunities through workflow analysis, market segmentation, and customer persona development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

  • 5 to 7 years of product management experience with meaningful exposure to fintech, B2B payments, or accounts receivable/payable solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and moving payment or fintech KPIs — activation rates, monetization metrics, product adoption — not just shipping features.
  • Working knowledge of the payments ecosystem — payment processing, payment facilitation, and B2B transaction workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with modern payments platforms, with Stripe preferred; experience with Adyen or similar enterprise-grade processors also valued.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and design teams in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform prioritization, set targets, and measure progress against owned KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders on metric performance and roadmap tradeoffs.
  • Familiarity with spend management, embedded payroll, remote deposit capture, or other embedded fintech products as future product surface areas.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative approach and eagerness to grow into broader strategic ownership of the Fullbay Payments KPI portfolio.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile software development practices.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments where KPI targets shift with business priorities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
