Manage the SambaNova Suite™ generative AI platform, optimize for enterprise clients, and drive innovation in business operations.
The summary above was generated by AI

The era of pervasive AI has arrived. In this era, organizations will use generative AI to unlock hidden value in their data, accelerate processes, reduce costs, drive efficiency and innovation to fundamentally transform their businesses and operations at scale.

SambaNova Suite™ is the first full-stack, generative AI platform, from chip to model, optimized for enterprise and government organizations. Powered by the intelligent SN40L chip, the SambaNova Suite is a fully integrated platform, delivered on-premises or in the cloud, combined with state-of-the-art open-source models that can be easily and securely fine-tuned using customer data for greater accuracy. Once adapted with customer data, customers retain model ownership in perpetuity, so they can turn generative AI into one of their most valuable assets.

The Mission

We are re-architecting the economics of AI. We build the world’s most efficient inference platform, and we sell it as a Managed Service to enterprises and Sovereign Clouds.

We need a Product Manager to own the product strategy or this business. You will define the roadmap for our Managed AI Cloud platform and serve as the architect of the unit economics that allow our partners to build profitable businesses on our products.

The Role

You will act as the Senior Product Manager for the Managed AI Cloud product line. You will own the roadmap for the managed service our partners use, and you will master the tokenomics of the models that run on it.

Your job is to answer two fundamental questions:

  1. What product capabilities do our Managed Service partners need to win in their markets?
  2. How do we price and package our compute to ensure both we and our partners are successful?
Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap & Strategy

  • Own the Managed Cloud Roadmap: Define the feature set and release schedule for the white-label platform used by our partners. Prioritize capabilities that enable them to deploy, manage, and bill for inference at scale.
  • Partner Success Strategy: Act as the strategic product partner for our Managed Service customers. Help them define their model strategy (which models to serve) and deployment architecture to maximize their rack utilization.
  • Technical Product Definition: Author rigorous Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that translate partner business needs into engineering specifications for our cloud software team.

Economic Architecture & Tokenomics

  • Master the Unit Economics: You are the owner of the "math" for the entire fleet. Build and maintain the models for cost-per-token, revenue-per-rack, and margin analysis for both our internal cloud and partner deployments.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing frameworks and roofline revenue estimates that Sales can use to prove the business case to prospective partners.
  • Optimization Impact: Track the model optimization roadmap. When Engineering improves model performance, you quantify exactly how that changes the unit economics for us and our partners.

Market Intelligence & Benchmarking

  • Competitive Benchmarking: Own the data on how our inference platform compares to NVIDIA and other accelerators.
  • Model Landscape: Monitor the industry for emerging models and traffic patterns. Evaluate which new models should be added to our supported portfolio based on partner demand and revenue potential.
What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ Years of Product Management: Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Managed Services, HPC, or B2B AI platforms. You have shipped complex infrastructure products.
  • First-Principles Thinking: You understand the raw inputs of compute—hardware cost, power, utilization—and can build a business model from the ground up.
  • Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable with complex "compute math." You can model sensitivity analysis for pricing and explain the P&L impact of technical decisions.
  • High-Bandwidth Communication: You can simplify the complex. You can explain token economics to Sales and business constraints to Engineering without losing fidelity.
  • Bias for Action: You thrive in ambiguity. You don't wait for a ticket; you see a gap in the partner experience or an inefficiency in our pricing, and you fix it.

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
