We are seeking a high-energy, experienced technical professional to serve as a Sr. Product Marketing Specialist.This role is a key contributor to AspenTech’s Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions focused on driving product quality & throughput, asset health, performance, availability and safety. You will be responsible for supporting the marketing efforts for our APM portfolio, including flagship products Aspen Mtell and Aspen ProMV.
The Sr. Product Marketing Specialist is a global position that is a significant contributor to our "go-to-market" (GTM) activities. You will collaborate with customers as well as globally distributed cross-functional teams in Sales, Solution Consulting, Product Management and Field Marketing to develop and execute strategies, messaging, and tactics that deliver business growth and help scale customer adoption of products.Your Impact
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategy and tactics in key market segments of energy, chemicals, and metals & mining.
- Clearly demonstrate and articulate the value of AspenTech's APM suite to a wide variety of business stakeholders.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
- Identify and document Best Practices through research and by developing case studies from customers.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement training and supporting materials (presentations, demonstrations, battlecards) to Sales.
- Contribute to the successful launch of new products and releases and support their cross-functional implementation.
- Create and refine sales enablement tools that align with the AspenTech sales process to support effective and efficient engagement with target customers.
- Drive successful marketing campaigns by creating compelling content.
- Lead the development of conference content and identification of customer papers for Aspen Global Conferences and customer-facing marketing events.2
- Create content to drive solution awareness including product collateral, whitepapers, web, video, and social content.
- Work collabora4tively with Industry Marketing to ensure solution area messaging is representative of relevant industry dynamics.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline required (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
- 3-7 years' experience of demonstrated success in the Energy, Chemicals, Metals & Mining or related process industry segments with an emphasis on Reliability and process health.
- Experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) concepts and solutions designed to drive product quality & throughput, and improve & sustain asset health, safety, performance and availability is highly desired.
- Experience with Refinery, Chemicals or Metals & Mining Operations is highly desired.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, and personable.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally).
