We are actively seeking a Sr. Project Manager for our Pre-Sales organization reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Global Pre-Sales. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Pre-Sales is accountable for driving the successful delivery of Pre-Sales programs, projects, and process implementations, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards - in a fast-paced, global environment.

This role requires:

  • Deep expertise in program and project management, including governance and interrelated processes.

  • Broad and current knowledge of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Pre-Sales and Sales Pipeline functions.

  • Strong proficiency in portfolio management, methodologies, tools, and quality assurance practices to ensure operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize, execute, and scale high-impact initiatives. As a natural leader, you will excel in team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and effective delegation, fostering collaboration across global teams.

Ultimately, the successful candidate is driven by a passion for optimizing productivity and delivering program success from inception through completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process Improvement, Documentation & Governance

  • Establish and maintain clear documentation standards for Pre-Sales processes.

  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and best practices.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to align Pre-Sales processes with go-to-market strategies and customer engagement models.

  • Lead workshops and feedback sessions to identify gaps and continuously optimize workflows.

Pre-Sales Enablement

  • Design and deliver enablement programs for Pre-Sales teams, including onboarding materials, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Maintain a centralized repository of Pre-Sales assets (e.g., case studies, demo scripts, RFP templates) for easy access and reuse.

  • Support the creation of technical presentations and solution demonstrations to enhance customer engagement.

Operational Support

  • Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs by providing accurate technical documentation and process guidance.

  • Monitor and report on Pre-Sales KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.

Project Management

  • Direct and manage high-impact, critical projects and programs from initiation through completion.

  • Execute core program/project management processes: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, including scope, cost, time, risk, resource, communication, and stakeholder management.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service and process quality.

  • Develop and track metrics and key performance indicators related to operations and projects.

  • Deliver regular program status reports to stakeholders.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Act independently to deliver programs and projects on schedule, within budget, and to scope, demonstrating strong self-motivation and accountability.

  • Monitor and manage program/project baselines - scope, budget, and schedule, addressing variances proactively.

  • Anticipate potential challenges; define problems, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and complex factors simultaneously.

  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives that support growth and profitability.

  • Limited travel as needed to support global programs and initiatives.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.

Location

Remote – United States

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • 10-15 years in Pre-Sales, sales operations, program management, or related roles with exposure to enterprise software solutions.

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills 

  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project) and Salesforce 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong documentation and process design skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with CRM systems, especially SalesForce.com

  • Understanding of ERP systems, including functionalities, process and shared challenges

Skills

  • Ability to work in highly virtual environments and teams; Disciplined to perform in a ‘work from home’ environment.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 120k - 160k depending on skills and experience.
