Lead and coordinate multi-discipline MEP design and construction projects, manage budgets/schedules, serve as client liaison, conduct surveys/inspections, supervise staff, maintain project financials and reports, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety.
Overall Responsibility: We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in our San Jose, CA office. Responsibilities include technical management and oversight for existing or new projects, acting as client/Company liaison in order to represent the Company’s interests and simultaneously maintain good relationships with clients. Ensures projects are completed with high quality level, on-time, and under budget.
Essential Functions:
- Manages and coordinates multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase services for projects both with internal staff resources and with external clients and stakeholders.
- Completes project initiation documents including details scope, outline, budget and schedule for completion.
- Identifies needed project resources and works with Corporate Discipline Leads to assigns team members.
- Ensures all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards.
- Acts as client/Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status.
- Represents Company at project meetings.
- Completes field surveys and/or inspections or assigns appropriate employees for same.
- Identifies and investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures.
- Ensures project financial database is current and maintained.
- Prepares high quality reports.
- Communicates project changes and/or variation information appropriately.
- Develops project staff.
- Supervises the work of other staff when assigned.
- Consults and coordinates with Supervisor and other senior management members at regularly scheduled meetings to review status of active and future projects.

Education/Experience Minimum:
- BS/BA or MS/MA or related four-year degree or professional registration (PE/AIA/RA) in engineering or architecture.
- PMP and/or PE Certification Preferred
- Demonstrative progressive growth in engineering experience/knowledge with 6-10 years industry experience / 3-5 years project management experience.
- Valid state driver’s license (any in US).
- Ability to work in US.
- Ability to meet worksite security requirements including MA State Police and USCBP/TSA background checks.
