Job Description

  

Drive quality excellence for mission-critical aerospace and defense products. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our technologies power aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare systems worldwide. If you’re passionate about quality assurance and customer success, this role is for you.

What you’ll do
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing team member for all quality-related issues, including assessments, product failures, returns, and corrective actions
  • Verify compliance with performance specifications, documentation requirements, and customer expectations
  • Support DCMA audits and coordinate Customer Source Inspection (CSI) and Government Source Inspection (GSI) visits
  • Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and customer requirements
  • Lead responses to customer issues, audits, and corrective actions, ensuring timely and thorough completion
  • Review contracts and purchase orders for quality requirements and flow-down compliance
  • Support ISO-9001/AS9100 certification and lead continual improvement initiatives
  • Investigate product and process quality concerns, approve nonconformance dispositions, and recommend improvements
  • Provide quality input during design reviews and customer meetings
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (required)
  • 1–5 years of experience in process engineering or product quality assurance for electronics or mechanical products (required)
  • Experience in ISO-9001 certified Quality Management Systems (required)
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534 (advantage)
  • Prior experience with aerospace or defense hardware (advantage)
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CSQP, CRE) a plus
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Salary Range:

$96,200.00-$128,300.000
