Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.
What You Will Do
- Translates complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules; partners with product teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
- Independently writes high quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suits and observability framework.
- Guides application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards , and strategies.
- Participates and mentors other engineers in software development technologies and processes by creating onboarding documents, root cause analysis, key learnings, demos, and share-out sessions.
- Automates and simplifies team development, tests, and operations processes for efficiency of delivering the work.
- Evaluates modern software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
- 5-7 years of technical experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Projects as an integration developer/engineer with hands on development experience in Oracle Cloud ERP integration and PaaS with following SaaS integration areas : FBDI - File Based Data Import, OIC based REST Web Services, SOA Suite/ICS/OIC/ JCS/VBCS, SOAP Web Services
- Should have expertise in building integrations, Inbound to and Outbound from Oracle SaaS, with on premise or other cloud applications
- Experience in working with OIC adapters included ERP Cloud Adapter, REST/SOAP, Apache Kafka, FTP, Oracle DB etc. adapters.
- Hands on experience on developing integrations using OICS, developed reports on any one BIP, OTBI etc.
- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts, reports, and database procedures to support business requirements.
- Should have good experiences on webservices, REST APIs, SOAP to Import and Export Master/Transactional data
- Should have experience performing Data conversions using FBDI Templates
- Should have experience in good software development engineering practices such as error handling, good interface design, logging and observability approaches, performance engineering practices, etc
- Functional knowledge in any of the Oracle Financials or SCM.
Preferred Skills/Education
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts is a plus. Implement and manage OCI components such as Object Storage (Buckets), OCI Streams, and related cloud services to enable data exchange and automation.
- Expertise in creating and scheduling Oracle Cloud ESS Jobs and BIP Jobs.
- Understanding of integration architecture and tradeoff considerations of various patterns in areas of batch vs. real-time, api, guarantee delivery, messaging and/or streaming, orchestration/workflow concepts and architectures, event-based solutions, etc
- Experience in using DevOps and Release Automation for OIC.
- Working experience with CI/CD process.
