Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day. We have 3.44 PB of RAM deployed across our fleet of C* servers - and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

Do you like to ship meaningful products and generally get stuff done? As a Pipelines Engineer on CrowdStrike's SDX team, you will be a key member of the team that keeps our software factory humming. Want to shape the technical vision around our continuous integration pipeline? Build tools and automation that take us through the next 10x of growth? Enhance developer experience by decreasing friction and streamlining CI/CD pipelines? If so, this job is for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, integrating them with various build/test/deploy tools

  • Work with various consumer and enterprise operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android) operating at scale

  • Write and maintain Jenkins Plugins and shared libraries using Groovy

  • Leverage Docker containerization to optimize build environments and accelerate pipeline execution

  • Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated C/C++ build systems using CMake, manage complex dependency graphs with Conan, and demonstrate expert-level understanding of the C++ toolchain and compilation processes

  • Develop specialized tooling for efficient build queuing and PR management in a high-velocity monorepo environment

  • Architect and optimize end-to-end pipeline performance, including compile time optimization, caching strategies, test parallelization, resource orchestration, and performance monitoring dashboards, to achieve maximum efficiency at enterprise scale while supporting rapid organizational growth

  • Mentor junior engineers and expand capabilities within the team

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying pipeline bottlenecks, implementing process optimizations, and advocating for technical solutions to key stakeholders

  • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging CI/CD technologies and best practices to maintain competitive engineering velocity and build quality

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for pipeline architectures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity

  • Champion engineering excellence through thoughtful, constructive code reviews that elevate code quality, enforce architectural standards, and mentor team members in a supportive environment, fostering a welcoming culture where continuous improvement thrives through collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively within an agile workflow environment

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience working as a build engineer with 5+ years focused on Jenkins environments

  • Proven track record architecting and implementing complex enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines

  • Advanced expertise in developing and maintaining custom Jenkins plugins

  • Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages including shell scripting, Groovy, Python, C, C++, and Rust

  • Demonstrated mastery of Jenkins pipeline development using Groovy, including shared libraries

  • Strong experience with Docker containerization for optimizing CI/CD workflows

  • Expertise in C/C++ build systems, particularly CMake, and package management with Conan

  • Experience building tooling and optimizing build queuing systems for high-velocity monorepo environments

  • Proficiency working in agile development methodologies

  • Expert-level experience optimizing and scaling Jenkins infrastructure for large organizations

  • Advanced git workflow management experience with enterprise platforms (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must work effectively with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide

  • Must be able to work with a distributed team across multiple time zones

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to make good, timely decisions

  • Self-learning capabilities and initiative in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Security mindset with general understanding of cybersecurity principles

  • Availability for 2-3 business trips per year for team meetings
