About Rialto

At Rialto, we're revolutionizing professional services like wealth management and accounting by building AI co-workers that automate repetitive administrative tasks, freeing professionals to focus on high-value client relationships. Our vision is to create an agent framework that integrates seamlessly with existing tools, enabling autonomous workflows in client onboarding, planning, business development, and more. Powered by proprietary intelligent agents, our platform drives efficiency and margin expansion in fragmented markets. We're in the seed stage, backed by top investors, and poised for rapid growth through AI-driven consolidation. If you're excited about agentic AI transforming industries, join us to shape the future from the ground up.

We're a small, elite team led by Blaze O’Byrne, a fintech veteran with 10+ years in financial services, leading AI investments and advising on M&A for major consolidators; and Wilm Kranz, an expert in building and deploying AI agents at massive scale, who led product development on agentic systems for complex tasks at Amazon AGI.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our core agent framework. You'll architect and build an agentic system that powers autonomous tasks across professional services workflows. As a versatile engineer, you'll own the full stack—from scalable architectures to integrations with third-party tools like CRMs and planning software. Expect to work on AI/ML, system integration, and rapid prototyping in a dynamic startup. This role reports to the founders and offers high autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agent Framework Development: Design and implement an extensible agentic system, including specialized agents for client service (e.g., Notes, CRM, Scheduling, Email), onboarding (e.g., Document, Planning), professional planning (e.g., Retirement, Compliance), and business development (e.g., Lead Gen, Qualifying, Marketing).
  • System Integration & Autonomy: Build integrations with legacy apps using secure protocols for data exchange, enabling agents to operate autonomously with continuous learning.
  • Full-Stack Ownership: Manage backend (Python/Node.js, APIs, databases), frontend (React/Vue for portals), and AI components (LLMs, multi-modal data).
  • Automation & Scalability: Automate workflows like note-taking, follow-ups, onboarding, and lead scanning; ensure scalability for acquisitions and auto-pilot modes with review loops.
  • Innovation & Prototyping: Collaborate with design partners to demonstrate cost savings early, iterating on agents that boost margins through admin reductions.
  • Team Building: Mentor hires and support growth as we expand across services.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years as a senior engineer, with expertise in building complex systems from scratch. You've shipped AI/ML products, ideally agentic systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Python for AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI and Anthropic APIs).
    • Strong full-stack: Backend (Node.js/Express, SQL/NoSQL), Frontend (JavaScript frameworks), cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
    • AI/ML hands-on: LLMs (e.g., GPT, fine-tuning), vector databases.
    • Integration experience: APIs, webhooks; bonus for professional tools (Salesforce, eMoney).
  • Mindset: A generalist who excels in ambiguity, switching between design, coding, and MVPs. Passionate about AI disrupting services.
  • Bonus Points: Background in fintech/professional services, open-source AI contributions, or startup scaling.

Why Join Rialto?

  • Impact: Shape a platform redefining industries at a pivotal moment in the tech industry
  • Culture: Small team, no bureaucracy—high-caliber collaborators in SF's tech scene. Flexible hybrid work, conferences.
  • Perks: Competitive salary, equity, health benefits, unlimited PTO.
  • Growth: Lead as we raise seed funding and scale to a top AI-augmented services platform.
