The role will need to be on intimate terms with the inner workings of all major social platforms and know how to fashion and push content to each in the most effective way, as well as how to modify methods as the platforms themselves change.

Responsibilities include assisting with community management, crisis moderation, content generation, scheduling and reporting to support initiatives that help build brand credibility and educate current, potential and future Club Members. This position will be required to employ sound decision-making skills to aid in the management of multiple active social media accounts on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the brand.

Ideal candidates must have a passion for social media, an understanding of current platforms and be familiar with social media as both a brand and engagement tool. 

 Expertise in tools such as: Sprinklr and Canva are preferred. 


Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the Specialist, Social Media must be an excellent collaborator, self-starter and well-organized. They must exercise sound decision-making as they act on behalf of the brand online. They should have experience navigating tight timelines, spearheading high-visibility initiatives, making social media strategy recommendations and always seek to identify opportunities for improvement. They must possess an ability to adapt their communication style, content, and medium to suit the audience being served/marketed to. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responding to questions and engaging with guests on behalf of the brand in real time. 
  • Make in-the-moment decisions on crisis moderation. Including but not limited to, identifying potential for online crisis, recommending resolution strategy and writing public-facing statements on behalf of the brand.
  • Research and recommend strategy for new social media initiatives including, but not limited to, company-wide social media governance policies.
  • Route issues to appropriate business group for assistance with moderation resolutions owning end-to-end case resolution, including recommendations on steps needed to achieve resolution.
  • Ideate and recommend content for the brand based on company-wide strategic priorities. Responsabilities include recommendation on channel strategy, voice and cadance.
  • Support workflows to route social media content to appropriate departments (ex. Legal) for approval. Being a brand steward and ensuring all social media content is up to brand standards, proactively flagging opportunities.
  • Be both a social scientist and knowledgeable of the social space from a product perspective.
  • Identify opportunities to surprise and delight customers, decicing how to best do so and executing on the recommendation.
  • Partner with internal and external partners to help bring campaign visions to life across our various social media networks, both organic and paid. Make strategic recommendations for social media campaign execution. 
  • Perform ad-hoc social media related projects as requested by management.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 2-3 years social media experience 
• Strong oral communication skills and an understanding of what should be communicated to different audiences
• Ability to work in a team and
assist in the execution of social media requests within an expedited timeframe
• Must be a good problem solver
• Must be comfortable handling sensitive guest concerns 
• Have a working knowledge of Sprinklr
• Skilled using MS Office applications.
