This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to a local office or our corporate headquarters for team-building, training, and collaborative project work. These on-site sessions are designed to strengthen connections, share insights, and ensure a seamless experience for our team and customers. Equipment pick-up from a local branch will be required. We will  provide advance notice whenever on-site attendance is required, making these times purposeful and rewarding.

Position Summary

The Oracle ERP Sr. Staff Business Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Applications team, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue, and IT stakeholders. This role is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and transforming Oracle ERP solutions, with a strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion ERP modules including Subscription Management, Accounts Receivable (AR), Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).

The ideal candidate brings deep experience transitioning from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12)—particularly OLFM, AR, and Financials—to Oracle Fusion Cloud, along with hands-on involvement in ERP transformation programs. The role also supports integrations with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and external applications (e.g., CRM systems).

This position requires strong functional expertise, analytical rigor, and leadership in solution design, project execution, and ongoing operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance business stakeholders and IT for Oracle ERP initiatives

  • Lead functional analysis, solution design, and fit-gap assessments for Oracle Fusion Financials

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional design specifications and process flows

  • Provide thought leadership in ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives

Oracle Fusion ERP & Financial Systems

  • Support and enhance Oracle Fusion modules including:

    • Subscription Management

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS / ASC 606)

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Fixed Assets (FA)

    • Cash Management

    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)

    • Account Payable (AP)

  • Leverage prior EBS R12 experience (OLFM, AR, Financials) to support data conversion, reconciliation, and process redesign

  • Support accounting use cases related to asset depreciation, revenue recognition, and contract-based billing

ERP Transformation & Integration

  • Participate in and lead EBS-to-Fusion Cloud transformation efforts, including:

    • Functional redesign

    • Data migration validation

    • Parallel testing and reconciliation

  • Understand and support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle Fusion and:

    • CRM platforms

    • Snowflake

    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    • Treasury and payment platforms (e.g., Kyriba)

  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate integration designs and data flows

Project & Delivery Management

  • Drive projects using structured methodologies (OUM / Agile / Hybrid)

  • Manage functional deliverables, testing cycles, UAT coordination, and business sign-offs

  • Prioritize enhancement requests, defects, and support issues

  • Communicate project and support status to leadership and user communities

Testing, Support & Documentation

  • Plan and execute system testing, including UAT and regression testing

  • Provide production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution

  • Develop and maintain:

    • Training materials

    • Desktop procedures

    • Process documentation

  • Train business users and promote best practices

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with Oracle and system integrators

  • Drive requirements and issues to vendors to obtain timely solutions

  • Influence Oracle application standards and best practices adoption

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Financials / ERP Business Analyst

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Financials

  • Prior hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, including OLFM and AR

  • Proven experience in ERP cloud transformation projects (EBS to Fusion)

  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition and subscription-based business models

  • Experience supporting integrations and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, GCP)

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL and relational database skills; ability to write ad-hoc queries for analysis and reconciliation

  • Experience with Oracle reporting and data tools (Fusion OTBI / BI extracts preferred)

  • Understanding of Oracle integration patterns and financial data models

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives

  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • MBA in Business, Finance, or Accounting

  • Oracle Cloud certification(s)

  • Experience with:

    • Oracle eBTax, Onesource, Vertex or similar tax engines

    • Cash Management integrations (Kyriba preferred)

    • ASC 606 / IFRS 15 implementations

  • Experience in renewable energy, asset-intensive or subscription-based industries

194,176.10 to 233,011.33
