Job Description

Product Marketing S is responsible for strategy, execution, business performance, and ownership of a defined subset of the Entry Line 32-bit MCU product portfolio, including hardware and software platforms. Reporting to the Product Line Manager (PLM), this role supports product and roadmap definition by translating market needs, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarking into clear product and portfolio strategy. The role partners with and influences cross-functional teams across engineering, regional marketing, sales, FAEs, and operations to drive execution and business growth. It also contributes to benchmarking, pricing strategy, product collateral, promotion, and lifecycle management for products within the Entry Line portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities 

Job functions would include (but not limited to): 

  • Product investment and roadmap strategy 

  • Develop a high-ROI product investment strategy for fast revenue growth aligned with market trends and target segments 

  • Define a strong product roadmap for short-term and long-term based on product family approach 

  • Product definition and planning – Working with Product Managers & System Architects 

  • Translating customer requirements into requirements. 

  • Support architecture trade-offs with engineering 

  • Build business cases for new product investments and derivative feature expansions 

  • Ensure product alignment with product line strategy 

  • Cross-functional execution 

  • Partner with engineering on product execution milestones 

  • Partner with operations on supply planning, cost reduction initiatives, and lifecycle transitions 

  • Partner with marketing with ‘go-to-market’ strategy execution and product launch collateral 

  • Enable sales and FAEs with competitive analysis, training and promotional collateral 

  • Customer engagement 

  • Establish deep relationships with key customers 

  • Align with customers on product roadmap, product definitions, and design-win support 

  • Track competition products and benchmark performance to update investment roadmap 

  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing, Sales, and FAEs to drive design-ins, design-wins, and revenue growth targets 

  • Lifecycle management 

  • Drive PCNs and EOL planning in close collaboration with operations 

  • Drive cost reduction initiatives (wafer/package/assembly cost reduction, test time reduction, multi-sourcing, die shrinks, etc) 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field. MBA is a plus. 

  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries. 

  • 5+ years in product management or product line management. 

  • Experience in product management, Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing, Business development, Applications, Supply chain management, Cost management, or related roles.   

  • Understanding of microcontroller or microprocessor or connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and data center or communications infrastructure applications and systems. 

  • Understanding of: 

  • Microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc) 

  • Embedded software ecosystems 

  • Semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics, and supply chain dynamics
