These capabilities are delivered through a portfolio of datasets, APIs, BI and analytics platforms, custom applications, and data visualization solutions.
The Business Intelligence and Analytics group within DAP designs, builds, and operates scalable analytics products and data driven services that support high volume, secure, and near real time processing. This role contributes to the development of full stack, cloud enabled, and GenAI augmented applications that meet the reliability, security, and performance standards expected of payment style systems.
Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, and implement full stack data products as web applications and web services using big data, cloud, and hybrid cloud technologies.
  • Build and enhance high throughput, low latency processing solutions to support analytics, reporting, and transaction style workloads.
  • Apply Generative AI capabilities where appropriate to enhance user experience, analytics workflows, developer productivity, or data interaction.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.
  • Deliver solutions that adhere to high quality development principles, including scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability, while meeting delivery timelines.
  • Develop and integrate security, authentication, authorization, and data privacy components, ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate applications with Visa’s enterprise authentication, authorization, and access management platforms.
  • Support secure API integration across internal and external systems.
  • Provide third level support for production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex technical problems.
  • Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure alignment with platform standards.
  • Research, evaluate, and apply modern tools, frameworks, and cloud native technologies, including those supporting GenAI and data processing.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, project managers, architects, system analysts, and cross functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience working in payment, financial services, or other highly regulated environments, with an understanding of auditability, compliance, and data governance requirements.
  • Exposure to advanced observability and reliability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tuning for high‑volume systems.
  • Experience contributing to architecture decisions, technical roadmaps, or platform standards in a multi‑team environment.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms, internal GenAI tooling, or agent‑based frameworks and an interest in advancing responsible AI adoption across engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
