YOUR MISSION

True Anomaly protects and defends the space domain, because our way of life depends on it. As a Sr. Technical Recruiter, you’ll have a direct hand in building the teams that make this possible. You will help shape a high-growth, high-impact organization by hiring the people engineering the future of space security. 

We deliver space superiority so the U.S. can operate freely in orbit, blending hardware and software in a way few companies can. In this role, you will partner with deeply technical leaders, hire exceptional engineering talent, and influence processes that scale. Space is the new high ground, we’re here to keep it secure, and you’ll be building the team that gets us there. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership, transparent communication, and effective candidate advocacy. 
  • Source and engage top talent across a wide range of technical disciplines including spacecraft hardware, software, supply chain, product, cyber security, IT, production, operations, and more. 
  • Deliver an exemplary candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and close. 
  • Build and nurture pipelines of exceptional passive talent to support current and future growth. 
  • Maintain high-quality ATS data and continuously drive process excellence, meeting or exceeding SLAs without compromising quality. 
  • Provide consistent, accurate hiring progress updates, including executive-level reporting. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Security, People, and other teams on initiatives such as process optimization, reporting, interview training, university relations, and talent marketing. 
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing True Anomaly at career fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. 
  • Strong track record filling technical or engineering roles while meeting or surpassing hiring goals. 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, typically 10–15+ open roles concurrently. 
  • Experience using data and insights to inform hiring decisions and guide stakeholders. 
  • A demonstrated commitment to excellent service for candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners. 
  • Highly organized with a bias for action; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise updates. 
  • Process-minded and proactive about identifying opportunities to streamline and improve. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a high-growth technology or product-focused startup; aerospace, defense, or national security experience is a plus. 
  • Familiarity hiring DoD-cleared talent (Secret or Top Secret). 
  • Prior experience with Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or ClearanceJobs. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location—while we observe a hybrid work environment, you will need to be onsite as the business needs require. On an average week, you can expect to spend at least 4 days per week in office at our Long Beach office. 
  • Travel—occasional travel to our other office locations and for hiring events.  
  • Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.

COMPENSATION

  • California Base Salary: $130,000 - $165,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
