Job Description

The Global Treasury team is not only responsible for all standard corporate Treasury functions required to support Visa, they are also responsible for daily settlement across Visa’s issuing and acquiring clients, a vital process in supporting the Visa network.  The Global Treasury team is in the midst of a multi-year project replacing core systems integrated in the settlement process and in doing so, creating a suite of new reporting and analytics capabilities supporting our colleagues across all regions: AP, CEMEA, Europe, LAC, and NA.

The Sr. Manager, Settlements Business Intelligence role will require a strong blend of technical, business, and communication skills to provide critical support for several key areas of Treasury’s Global Operations, including:  reporting, process improvement and automation.

 Essential Functions:

  • Enable insight-based, self-serviced and forward-looking decision making by Global Treasury leadership through feature rich and visually appealing Business Intelligence dashboards and reports
  • Identify AI and process automation capabilities to incorporate into Treasury applications, reports and workflows
  • Develop predictive models to support Settlement and Cash forecasting capabilities
  • Manage ad hoc data requests with an eye towards recognizing repeating themes across requests and converting those into new reporting capabilities
  • Analyzing large amounts of data, synthesizing and presenting conclusions and observations to management
  • Direct the bank fee data acquisition and analysis process through the loading of data files and maintaining the bank fee analysis application in addition to providing reports from the application to our regional Treasury leaders
  • To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone that is a good team player who is motivated and adept at working in a global environment and is flexible and comfortable with high-pressure, tight deadlines, and the ability to deliver efficiently in a fluid and fast-paced environment. One off requests for simple to complex data analyses from both within and external to Global Treasury do arise and the ability to step up and manage the entire workload is required.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Strong background in SQL, Power BI and/or Tableau, Excel
  • Extensive experience with data analysis and visualization, with the ability to analyze data while producing relevant insights
  • Experience with R and/or Python in developing statistical/predictive analyses and machine learning routines is a plus
  • Experience with Hadoop or other large scale database applications is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint and PowerApps, especially Power Automate
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight from Management
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise conclusions
  • Strong business analysis skills, verbal and written communication skills, a positive customer-service attitude, and the ability to collaborate and influence others are essential
  • Comfortable with handling multiple projects at once and knowing when to escalate, as appropriate
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and/or financial data is a plus

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 120,900 to 206,350 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
