Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms

About this team and role:

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager who combines strong client and partnership management skills with programmatic expertise. You’ll play a central role in driving the long-term growth and strategic development of Mozilla’s key advertising partnerships, ensuring seamless execution, optimization, and growth.

On the Mozilla Ad Operations team, you’ll work directly with cross-functional partners across the larger Mozilla Ads org such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Data to advise on strategy, guide execution, and represent partner needs across teams. You’ll oversee advertising campaigns and initiatives from start to finish including optimization, reporting, and troubleshooting. You’ll also help shape the operational foundation for Mozilla’s expanding programmatic business, supporting the setup of SSPs and processes needed to scale.

What you’ll do:

You’ll manage high-value advertising partnerships and campaigns across direct and programmatic channels, acting as a strategic liaison between partners and internal teams to drive performance, communication, and alignment.
  • Coordinate and lead partner and cross-functional meetings, from recurring check-ins to quarterly business reviews. Set agendas, document decisions, and ensure accountability on follow-ups.
  • Reconcile partner reporting with internal data, and proactively ensure partners fulfill their performance obligations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical or data-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, documentation, and quality standards that drive operational excellence across both direct and programmatic campaigns.
  • Partner with SSPs and internal teams to ensure smooth inventory setup, testing, and integrations as Mozilla expands its programmatic business.
  • Programmatic Yield Management across multiple SSP’s, direct-sold and remnant campaigns.
  • Ongoing management of IVT and Viewability via partner integrations and programmatic platform / client feedback. Advise Product and Engineering teams to monitor, manage, and improve overall scores.
  • Build and deliver comprehensive performance updates for clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular visibility into key priorities, campaign results, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales to evaluate inventory, craft proposals, and ensure campaign success from planning through delivery.
What you’ll bring:

You bring a mix of analytical, operational, and relationship-building expertise, and are able to balance technical precision with strategic communication and partner leadership.

  • 4-6 years of related work experience in ad operations, account management, or programmatic advertising.
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic guaranteed, private marketplace deals, SSPs, and DSP troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ad servers and reporting tools, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills for campaign analysis.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret campaign and partner data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Proven success managing strategic, high-value advertising partnerships with measurable business impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading client-facing calls.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple teams and partners.
  • Commitment to our values:
    • Welcoming differences
    • Being relationship-minded
    • Practicing responsible participation
    • Having grit
What you’ll get:
  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)
