The Opportunity:

As a Staff AI Researcher, you'll architect and implement sophisticated agents and retrieval techniques that work across XX Million data points for every sales organization to power our sales co-pilot, making it feel like every seller has a seasoned sales mentor by their side. You'll drive continuous innovation by incorporating cutting-edge AI advancements, running rapid experiments, and iterating based on real user feedback to create truly magical experiences for our users.

Who You Are:
  • Deep experience architecting end-to-end AI systems that combine multiple components; LLMs, hybrid search indexes (lexical, vector, and knowledge graphs) and agents

  • Track record of optimizing retrieval systems for both accuracy and performance at scale

  • Data-driven mindset with experience in designing metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI systems

  • Strong software engineering foundation with expertise in Python and modern AI/ML infrastructure

  • Strong user empathy and collaboration skills with the ability to work across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Architect end-to-end agentic systems that autonomously plan and orchestrate multi-tool workflows

  • Implement sophisticated retrieval systems that surface contextually relevant information in near real-time

  • Optimize and fine tune our vector databases and embeddings to solve for accurate domain understanding

  • Drive technical decisions and collaborate with product to build AI features that solve real user pain point

  • Build monitoring systems to track model performance, costs, and reliability metrics

  • Stay on top of the latest developments in AI and rapidly prototype new capabilities

  • Use modern developer tools like Cursor and CoPilot to maximize productivity

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of AI research experience, with at least 2 years focused on RAG and AI copilot systems

  • Strong proficiency in modern AI infrastructure - vector databases, embedding models, agentic workflows (LangGraph, MCP etc.)

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science or related fields strongly preferred
